DAY 1
You’re in a large brass bed.
TAKE SHEETS and GET UP. From here GO NORTH into the hall of the castle. GO WEST into the kitchen and ENTER DUMBWAITER. Once in, RAISE DUMBWAITER to the next level. ENTER ROOM to find garlic and matches. TAKE GARLIC and TAKE MATCHES.
ENTER DUMBWAITER again, LOWER DUMBWAITER, then LOWER DUMBWAITER again and ENTER ROOM to enter a work room. GO DOWN into a dark dungeon. There’s a ring here so you can TIE SHEET and when asked to what, TO RING. Now you can CLIMB SHEET. Careful! It’s very dark. LIGHT MATCH to just be able to see a torch. TAKE TORCH and CLIMB SHEET back into the dungeon.
GO UP back into the workroom and try to ENTER VENT. You’re not the size of a bat. ENTER DUMBWAITER and RAISE DUMBWAITER, then ENTER ROOM to return to the kitchen. GO EAST to the hall and WAIT until the doorbell rings. If you’ve already heard it, you don’t have to wait but can GO EAST to outside the castle.
There should be a postcard. TAKE POSTCARD and READ POSTCARD. There’s a note with a paper clip attached. TAKE CLIP and READ NOTE, then DROP NOTE and DROP POSTCARD but keep the paper clip. GO WEST back into the castle and GO WEST again into the kitchen.
It’s probably getting dark by now. As soon as it’s too dark to see, LIGHT TORCH.
ENTER DUMBWAITER and LOWER DUMBWAITER then ENTER ROOM. You’re in the work room with a locked door. PICK LOCK and OPEN DOOR. Then ENTER DOOR into the closet and EMPTY VIAL that’s here. You now see some tablets. TAKE TABLETS.
As soon as you’re getting tired, EAT TABLETS, not earlier! DROP STAKE and GO WEST to leave the closet. CLOSE DOOR and LOCK DOOR. From here ENTER DUMBWAITER and RAISE DUMBWAITER. Now ENTER ROOM and you’re back in the kitchen.
Only after you see that the sun has set, ENTER OVEN and TAKE FILE. To leave the oven, GO WEST and GO EAST to enter the hall. GO SOUTH back into the bedroom and ENTER BED. To end this day, UNLIGHT TORCH and SLEEP.
Day 2
DROP CLIP, you don’t need it yet. TAKE SHEETS and GET UP. To get to the next level, TIE SHEETS and when asked to what, TO BED. To use it, TAKE END of the sheet and OPEN WINDOW. Now ENTER WINDOW and DROP END down. CLIMB SHEET down to the window box below and ENTER WINDOW to the flower box outside the window. ENTER WINDOW again to go inside. It looks like you’re in Dracula’s room.
REMOVE PORTRAIT and DROP PORTRAIT to find a dark passage behind it. But don’t go there yet. ENTER WINDOW and CLIMB SHEET. Then CLIMB SHEET again to outside your own window. ENTER WINDOW into the bedroom and GO NORTH into the hall. GO NORTH again to the bathroom.
LOOK MIRROR to see your bitemarks and realize you can only take so much. But you should be alright (for now). GO SOUTH to leave the bathroom and WAIT until the doorbell rings. In the meantime, it you get tired EAT TABLET and when it gets dark LIGHT TORCH. Once the doorbell has rung, GO EAST to outside the front door and OPEN PACKAGE. Now TAKE PACK of cigarettes from it. GO WEST back to the hall and GO SOUTH into the bedroom.
ENTER WINDOW, then if you have the torch lit, UNLIGHT TORCH (not to burn the sheet), then CLIMB SHEET. To enter the flower box, ENTER WINDOW and ENTER WINDOW again to enter Dracula’s room. LIGHT TORCH before you ENTER PASSAGE.
GO NORTH and LOOK at the sign. Now if it says you shouldn’t do something….. But you’ll have to WAIT until the sun sets. After you’ve taken your tablet against the tiredness, DROP TABLETS and TAKE CIGARETTE. Then LIGHT CIGARETTE and SMOKE CIGARETTE. This will let you discover a coffin.
OPEN COFFIN and ENTER COFFIN. You’ll find a slide bolt inside the coffin. CUT BOLT inside the coffin and when asked with what answer WITH FILE. You’ve now destroyed the lock. GO UP out of the coffin and DROP CIGARETTE (the lit one). GO SOUTH into the dark passage and GO SOUTH again to Dracula’s room. GET CIGARETTE from the pack and ENTER WINDOW. Now before you climb the sheet, UNLIGHT TORCH otherwise the sheet will burn.
CLIMB SHEET and CLIMB SHEET again to your own bedroom window. ENTER WINDOW into your bedroom. ENTER BED and SLEEP until the next day.
Day 3
After waking up, DROP GARLIC and TAKE SHEETS. Now TAKE CLIP and GET UP. From here GO NORTH into the hall and GO WEST into the kitchen. ENTER DUMBWAITER and LOWER DUMBWAITER. To get out ENTER ROOM and you’re in the work room. You locked the door again so PICK LOCK and DROP CLIP.
You don’t need the file anymore so DROP FILE but you can use the mallet so TAKE MALLET. Now OPEN DOOR and ENTER DOOR into the closet. TAKE STAKE you’ve saved there and GO WEST to leave the room. ENTER DUMBWAITER and RAISE DUMBWAITER, then ENTER ROOM to return to the kitchen.
GO EAST to the hall, then GO SOUTH to your bedroom. OPEN WINDOW and TIE SHEETS. When asked to what, TO BED. To take them, TAKE END then ENTER WINDOW and DROP END. With the sheet dangling down, you can CLIMB SHEET. From here GO WINDOW into the flower box and ENTER WINDOW again to enter Dracula’s room.
Before you enter the darkness again, LIGHT TORCH and ENTER PASSAGE. From here GO NORTH into the crypt. There’s the coffin again. Since it’s still daytime, it’s time to end this! LIGHT CIGARETTE (you remembered to tak one out of the pack before the pack got stolen at night?) and SMOKE CIGARETTE. To find Dracula, you need to OPEN COFFIN (good thing you disabled that lock!) and ENTER COFFIN.
