The tyre needs to be replaced. But there’s no tool to get the wheel off.
Examine the damaged tyre to notice a shard in there (1/1). But you can’t take it out with your bare hands. Go to the toolbox under the truck to find a pair of PLIERS (1/2). With the pliers you can take the SHARD from the tyre (1/3).
After returning the pliers, use the shard on the patch on the canvas of the truck to create a hole (1/4). Look inside the hole to extract a can of BEER (1/5). Use the salt bin behind the car to take some SALT from it (1/6). Walk to the left to see the cab of the truck. The driver is asleep but the window is open.
Walk further to the left and find the RAC. Very helpful because they can provide the tools you need. But there’s also a police officer that you now need to get rid of. You’ll overhear the officer about the drink-driving campaign they’re on at the moment. Go through the rubbish bags behind the lorry and find a WATER PISTOL (1/7).
In your inventory fill the pistol with the can of beer (3/10) and use the pistol on the lorry driver through the open window (2/12). That takes care of the officer. Use the cab of the lorry to search inside. There’s nothing to find but you dislodge the sun visor in the action. Pick up the SUN SHADE (1/13) and in your inventory examine the visor. Behind it is a RAC CARD (1/14).
In the central reservation you can see some weed. Pick it up to see it’s WILD GARLIC (1/15). Walk further to the left to find the RAC mechanic at the burger van. Talk to her but she’s hungry and the chef only wants to serve the perfect burger. He’ll tell you what the seasoning should be like. He’ll throw the ‘faulty’ one on the umbrella of the RAC stand.
It’s too high to take it but with your baton you can peel the HAMBURGER from it (1/16). In your inventory add the garlic to the burger (1/17) and add the salt to the burger (1/18). Use your pepperspray with the burger to give it some ‘bite’ (1/19). Put the burger back on the platter and let the chef make the burger.
Talk to Nadia and ask for a wheel brace. You can get one if you’re a member of the RAC. Show her the RAC card and you’ll get the WHEEL BRACE (1/20). Walk to the right twice to return to the car and use the brace on the damaged tyre (3/23).
At the safehouse you’re tasked to get prunes and a mobile phone. Use the box against the caravan to find it locked. Use the gas bottles next to the caravan to find a KEY (1/24). Use the key with the box against the caravan to find a set of BOULES and a plastic SPADE (1/25).
Walk to the left to find the police again hanging wanted posters so you’ll get recognised quickly. One of the officers will keep watch at the top of the stairs. Now you need to get rid of the poster and the officer. Walk further to the left to find the nude beach. Examine the broken beach furniture to discover the repairs. Use the repaired windbreak to take the TAPE off (1/26). Walk to the right and use the tape with the poster to disguise your faces (1/27).
Talk to the couple in the deckchairs. They will give you a hint on how to get the police officer away. Take a look at the bag in front of them and learn what’s missing there. They’re waiting for the vinegar. Walk over to the donkey man and talk to him. Left of the man is something (a buried treasure?) in the sand. Try to pick it up and then use the plastic shovel on it to get the SHARP TIN out (1/28).
Use the sharp tin on the rope of the donkey and the donkey will run off, followed by it’s owner. Use the bag and take a large MAGNET from it (1/29). Walk to the right and look at the bottle next to Geoff. It’s vinegar! Pick up the bottle and ask Geoff you can have it. You now have the VINEGAR (1/30). Pick up the CANDY FLOSS that the girl dropped (1/31). Walk back to the left.
Use the vinegar on the paper bag (1/32). But it’s the wrong vinegar so the fish and chips end up in the left bin. It attracts wasps straight away. Put the candy floss in the right bin so the wasps move (2/34). Take the SCRAPS (1/35) from the left bin. Walk to the left and talk to the nudist. Learn what happened before. Maybe you can create the same effect again.
The nudist is listening to the radio. But when you use the magnet with the radio it becomes static so the nudist will re-tune the radio and is distracted (2/37). Use the scraps on the table to the right of the nudist (1/38) and then push the windbreak (3/41). Watch the scene that follows.
You’re now at the shops so now you can go after the phone and prunes. Well.. the phone because the prunes are guarded by a police officer. Enter the sweetshop. On the counter is a box with free pieces of rock. Take a piece of ROCK (1/42) and leave the shop again. You don’t have any money anyway. Walk to the right and talk to the youths. They’ll tell you why they hang around here and where they were before. If only….
Enter the souvenir shop and talk to the shopkeeper. Business is slow. Look at the display on the left to find the hats. Take one. That would make a nice disguise. Talk to the shopkeeper and he’ll ask you for advice. Look at the wishing well. You’ll take the TWO PENCE piece from it (1/43). Leave the shop for now. Walk to the right and use the phone box that has been converted into a library. You’ll get a copy of a MARKETING BOOK from it (1/44). Have a look at the book to realise how you can help the souvenir shop keeper (1/45).
Talk to the donkey man. He’s magnet fishing but doesn’t want to be disturbed. Talk to the little girl. She dropped her candy floss and is now a bit upset. Try to use the binoculars but she won’t let you. Give the stick of rock to the girl and she’ll leave the binoculars alone (2/47). Use the binoculars to discover a worrying object in the sea (1/48). After telling the donkey man, he’ll go after the object and leaves his net behind. Pick up the FISHING NET (1/49).
Walk left twice and look at the grabber. You can win a phone there. But you don’t have the money for it. Look at the penny falls machine. It accepts 2P coins, which you have. But no matter how often you try, you’ll only get your own 2P. Under the machine on the left side is a wedge. Kick it to increase your chances of winning (1/50). Insert the 2P again and this time you’ll win a PILE OF CHANGE (1/51). Use the change on the grabber and with the last 5 coins you manage to get the PHONE out (1/52).
Walk to the right and return to the souvenir shop. Give the marketing book to the shop keeper and in tell him about the plan. He agrees and in return you can have the HAT (3/55). Leave the shop and walk to the left. Before going further, in your inventory add the glasses to the hat (2/57) and use the combination on yourself (1/58).
You can now walk further to the left and past the officer. Look at the police car and at the window of the car. Inside you can see a taser. But you can’t reach it. Use the net from the donkey man on the window to scoop the TASER out of the car (1/59). Walk back to the right twice to the youth hanging around. Use the taser on the device above them to try to scare them off (2/61). Walk back to the left twice and with the police officer out of the shop, you can enter.
Talk to the shop keeper to ask for a prune ice cream. But you have to wait your turn and there’s no bubblegum ice cream left. Take a CONE from the display on the right (1/62) and in your inventory use the set of boules with the cone to make it look like a bubblegum ice cream (2/64). Give the ice cream to the waiting lady and she’ll step aside (3/67). You’ll get your ice cream and the story takes quite a turn.
In the bedroom, look at the suitcase to discover the false bottom (1/68). But it’s locked with a key. Next to the bed is a bedside table. Open the drawer to find the GIDDDEONS BIBLE (1/69) . In your inventory, read the bible to discover that inside is a KEY (1/70). Use this key on the false bottom of the suitcase and you’ll find the murder weapon: a KNIFE (1/71).
Look around the room and specifically at the sockets next to the kettle. There’s some space behind it. Use the knife on the socket to reveal a cavity behind it. Inside you’ll find a blank PIECE OF PAPER and a CASSETTE (1/72). Examine the piece of paper in your inventory to notice the smell. When you’ve checked the bin, you’d find the lemon as well. That can only mean some secret writing. And you can make it readable by heating it up. Have a look at the trouser press. It can heat things up. Use the sheet of paper with the press to make the text readable and see who the accomplice is (3/75).
At the press conference, you’re not allowed into the van. Talk to the technician to learn he’s bored. On the front of the car you can find a NEWSPAPER (1/76). But when you give it to the technician he’ll remind you that there’s no crossword in it. Walk to the right and talk to the worker and learn about his loyalty for his employer. Give him the newspaper (3/79) and he’ll be off for a pint.
Use the toolbox he was sitting on to get the large TOOL out (1/80). In the pit is a small boat made of paper. But it’s out of reach. Use the tool with the valve to raise the water level and retrieve the PAPER BOAT (3/83). Unfold the boat in your inventory to see it’s the crossword puzzle (2/85). But it’s already completed. Walk to the left and take the RUBBER BAND from next to the pillar box (1/86).
In your inventory use the rubber band with the crossword puzzle to erase the contents (2/88). Give the crossword to the technician (1/89) and with him distracted, you can enter the van (3/92). Look at the equipment. Ignore the middle unit since it’s out of order. The left and the right machine are identical. They both have slots for all kinds of media.
Pick up the mug (oops) to reveal the coaster underneath. Pick up the BEER MAT (1/93) and in your inventory look at it to learn what the machines do. A is for broadcasting. Look at the cassette slot of machine A. It’s blocked with chewing gum so useless. Machine C is backup but not transmitting. Push the switch next to the red button on machine C to switch to that side. At the top of all the machine you can see that at the moment the audio signal is the one from EXTernal. Turn the dial to INTernal and insert the cassette into the cassette slot of machine C (3/96).
Linda is taken hostage and you get a gun to resolve the issue. Whenever you aim in the direction of Fettler, there will be a bad ending. Instead shoot the speaker which will explode and knock out Fettler (5/101).
