Shemwood Plains – Walkthrough (IdiotBox/2005)

Your friend Joe asked for help and now you’re trapped inside a house.
Use the door on the left next to the entrance.Walk left through to lounge and use the door on the left again to enter the garage. Take the CROWBAR from the wall and the HAMMER from the toolbox. Inside the toolbox is a tube of GLUE. Take the THREE STICKS from the wall and leave the room on the right.
Cr’oss the lounge to the right and use the door to return to the point of entry. Walk to the south and use the door on the south wall to enter another corridor. Use the door in the middle of the north wall to enter an arcade room. The machines don’t work but there’s a bag of COINS on the floor in the back so take it. Leave the room again on the south.
There’s a man standing in the hall but you can’t speak to him. Use the door on the south wall next to him to enter another lounge. On the couch is a KEY. Take it and leave the room again to discover that the man has been killed. Walk back the way you came by using the left door in the north wall. The first door on the right is locked but since you have a key, use it to unlock the door and enter the dining room.
There’s a door on the north but it’s boarded shut. Use the hammer on the boards to remove them and pick up the NAILS. Use the door north to enter the kitchen. On the worktop is another KEY so take it. Use the cabinet next to the door on the south to get a CUP out. Leave the room again on the south and exit the dining room on the left.
Use the door south again to go to the second corridor and walk all the way to the right. The door there is locked but use the key to unlock it and enter a third corridor. Use the door on the upper right to enter a bar and take the BOTTLE from the bar. Leave the room again and use the elevator north to go to the next level.
Use the door on the lower left to enter a bedroom and find a journal on the bed. Read the journal to learn about the terrible history of the mansion. On the bedside cabinet is a KEYCARD. Pick it up and leave the room again. Walk north to the elevator and use the elevtor to return to the first floor.
Use the door on the lower left and in the corridor walk to the door on the left in the south wall. There’s a card reader next to it so use the keycard on the reader and open the door to enter the room. The study has a desk. The drawers are stuck so use the crowbar on the drawers to open them and find the bottom half of a KEY.
Leave the room and use the door on the left in the opposite wall. Use the door left of the front door to go to the lounge and use the door on the south to enter a small corridor. The door on the lower left is locked. In your inventory use the bag with coins to take one COIN out. Combine the glue with the bottom half of the key and then combine the coin with the glued key to fix it. Use the new key on the door to unlock it and enter the bathroom.
There’s not much special in the bathroom but you need to turn on the tap of the sink. There’s not even water coming out of the tap but when you leave the room you can see something has changed: there’s another door to the south. Use that door and walk to the right to reach another elevator. Use the elevator to change floors. Open the door north to the next corridor and use the door on the left.
A new hallway to cross so use the door on the left to enter another bathroom. On the toilet seat is a LIGHTER. Take it and leave the bathroom again. Cross the corridor to the right and go through the door. Use the door on the lower left to reach the elevator on the right and use it to return to the previous level. Use the door on the upper left and cross the corridor north. Use the door to enter the lounge again.
Walk to the right and at the entrance hall walk south. Use the door on the right in the south wall to reach the loung with the fireplace. Use the light to light the fireplace and look in your inventory. There’s one stick that has a rattling noise. Throw that stick into the fire. Now you need to kill the flames.
Leave the room and walk through the door on the upper left to the main entrance hall. Use the first door on the right to enter the dining room and go north to the kitchen. Use the cup from your inventory on the sink to fill it with water. Walk south to leave the kitchen and left to return to the entrance hall.
Use the door on the south and return to the fireplace by using the door on the lower right. Drop the water in the fireplace to kill the fire and you can get a burnt KEY from it. Leave the room again and use the door on the right. Walk north to the elevator and use the elevator to go to the next level. Use the burnt key on the door on the lower right and enter the room. In the bedroom you’ll find an EMBLEM on the bed. Take it and leave the room again. Everything’s changed now!
Walk north to the elevator and use it to return to the previous level. Use the emblem on the door on the lower right and enter the laundry room. The door on the south doesn’t have any handles so use the crowbar on it to function as handles and enter the empty room. There’s another KEY on the floor. Leave the room again and exit the laundry room on the left.
Use the door on the lower left to enter the corridor and use the door on the upper left to return to the main entrance hall.Use the door on the left to enter the lounge and then the door south to the hall. Use the door on the left to enter the bathroom and turn the tap off. Leave the room again and return north to the lounge. To the right to the main corridor and south to the second corridor.
All the way to the right to the next corridor and use the key you found earlier on the door on the south. Use the elevator on the right. Walk all the way to the left and use the door to enter an office. Use the door north to reach darkness. Keep walking north until you find two coffins: one closed with on it and one still open with your name on it. Keep walking north until you find another door and go through. Walk all the way to the left and use the door on the far left to reach a familiar hallway. Use the door on the south to find a DOLL on the floor. Pick it up and in your inventory put the nails in the doll.
The doll vanishes. Nothing else to do but to go north and use the door on the right. On the floor are fingers and a RING you can take off. Use the door on the far lower right to return to the office and the door on the rigth to find the elevator at the right side of the corridor. Use the elevator.
Use the door north and the one on the lower left. Walk all the way to the left and use the ring on the door to unlock it. Behind the door you’ll find another KEY in the corner of the room. Leave the room and everything will go black. Walk to the right and use the door. Use the door south and the elevator on the right. Cross the corridor to the left and exit the office on the north.
Walk one door to the left on the south wall and use the key to unlock the door. Behind it is the game room. Take the 8-BALL from the pool table and look at the ball in your inventory. Combine the ball with the hammer to smash the glass and you’ll have a small SPHERE left. Leave the room and use the door on the lower right to return to the office. Exit on the right and into the elevator on the far right. Leave the hall on the north and walk straight ahead toward the other elevator.
Use the elevator and walk south. Use the door there and in the hall use the door on the right: it’s locked. Use the sphere on the door to unlock it and go inside. In the room is a KEY. Take it and leave the room through the same door you came in: the top one. Ose the door north to return to the first hall and use the key you just picked up on the door left of the elevator. Go through the door and… you’re trapped!
You can’t get out and the only object in the room is a wardrobe. But that’s held shut by a rope. In your inventory use the bottle to break it and use the shards on the rope to cut it. Step through the wardrobe. Use the door in front of you to get to another empty room so… use the door in front of you again. Another two doors appear and it doesn’t really matter which one you use, you’ll enter a room with four red doors. Again, no matter which one you’ll use, you’ll step into a room with a pool of blood. And there’s no door anymore to leave.
To get out you need to stop the curse: in your inventory combine the glue with one of the sticks and combine both sticks to create a CROSS. Stick the cross in the pool of blood and the curse is lifted. You’re at the front door again so use it to leave the house.
