Quest For Cinema – Walkthrough (Tanker/2004)

Quest For Cinema Walkthrough Warning! This page contains the complete solution or walk-through to this game. Reading this page can spoil the challenge to complete the game by yourself. Please consider this when reading on. The walk-through of this game given here might not be the optimal solution, it’s a solution. Just to prove that the game can be finished. You are fired but want to go to the cinema.

Use the drawer of the protective case to open it. Pick up the open drawer to get the items out: A LIBRARY PASS and some PENNIES. In the middle of the protective case is a maintenance box. Pick up(!) the library card and use it on the maintenance box. Use the valve that became visible to turn the water to hot.

Use the door left of the protective case to go outside and take the POT that’s under the window. Pick up the pot from the inventory and use it on the small strip of sea to get some WATER. Use the door to go back inside again and use the door on the left to enter the bathroom. Pick up the pot with water from the inventory and use it on the sink to boil it.

Pick up the library card from the inventory and use it on the pot with boiling water to create RED PAINT. On the right side of the flusher is a STRING. Pick it up. Walk to the right and use the door on the right to enter the bed room. Use the lower wardrobe door to find the HAMM and the bottle with OIL. Take them both. Use the door of the wardrobe again to close the door and find a cable wire from the TV behind it. Pick up the hamm from the inventory and use it on the wire to cut the hamm. Use the door on the left to leave the bedroom and use the door on the north to go outside again.

Take the path to the right of the stairs to walk to the north. In the grass on the left is an IDOL. Pick it up. Walk into the cave entrance behind the man. Talk to the viking. In your inventory pick up the pennies and use them with the money (not the other way around). Talk to Vikingo again and ask what you can get for your money.

You get a WOODEN HAND. Ask if he wants to move in with you but then you have to bring a hamburger and a coke. Walk to the south to leave again.

[At this point you should follow the path to the bottom right to reach the metal door. Use the idol with the string to create a grappling hook, use the hook with the bread, go home and use the bread on the tv-wire to slice it, use the sliced bread with the sliced hamm to create a burger and give that to Vikingo. All this in order to let Vikingo come along. But… since the exit from the room with the metal door is very hard, nearly impossible to find, I suggest you skip this part. To add to this: the metal door can’t be opened and has no use in the game.]

Follow the path to the left back to your house and use the front door to get inside. Use the door on the right to go to the bedroom and pick up the wooden hand to use it on the top wardrobe door. Inside you find rock balls but there’s wallpaper next to it. Pick up the wooden hand again to get the WALLPAPER out of the wardrobe.

Use the door on the left and leave the bedroom. Use the door on the north to leave the house. Use the stone stairs and follow the path until you reach the cinema. Talk to the clerk, Cid, and ask to see a movie. You don’t have enough money and you can’t go in for free. Take the CUP in front of the cinema.

Walk to the north and follow the path back to your house. Take the path to the north to return to the cave entrance. In front of the entrance is a guy covered in blood. Talk to the man to learn what he’s missing. In your inventory pick up the wallpaper and use it on the wooden hand. Give the wooden hand to Bob. In return you get the CINEMA TICKET.

Pick up the hamm and give it to Bob. Now he’ll give you a STRAW. Pick up the straw with the cup and pickup the cup with the red paint to create a coke. Enter the cave and talk to Vikingo. [Whenever you skipped the room with the metal door, this part becomes a red herring since it’s used to get Vikingo along with you]

Pickup the bottle of oil and use it with the cinema ticket to reveal a label. Follow the path to the left back to your house and use the stone stairs to follow the path to the cinema. Pickup the ticket and give it to the clerk. You’re quest is complete.
