The Mortuary:
Use the body drawers in the back to realise that all victim bodies need to be re-examined. Look at the body of Mary Jane Kelly. Then smell the body and touch the body. Talk to the medical examiner again and ask about the specs, the weapon and the smell. Then ask where the other bodies are. Look at the medical tools on the right.
The Promenade:
Talk to Jeezebel. Ask about the appearance, the height and the accent. Walk further to the right and examine the boot prints in the sand. Walk further to the right to see the beach hut and use the door to knock on it. The occupant doesn’t want to talk but has an accent. But the man only wants to talk with Polly Flanders.
The Promenade:
Walk back to Jeezebel on the left and talk to her. Ask her if she knows where Polly might be.
The Boars Head:
Talk to the man standing at the bar. He’s a bit odd. Look at his cane and look at the man to note his characteristics. Talk to the lady behind the bar and she’ll point out Polly. Talk to Polly and ask her about Jack, any strange behaviour and if she wants to help you at the beach hut. But there’s not much progress.
Police Station:
Talk to the police Chief and ask for the VICTIM PHOTOS. Ask about the progress and you’ll get a SCARF that was handed in.
The Boars Head:
Show the photos to Polly and now she’ll help you. You’ll also notice the reaction of her companion.
The Beach Hut:
Silus will talk to you now and tell the story of his son that Polly has never told you. But at the crucial moment he’s killed with a CROWBAR. You’ll bring Polly back to the Boars Head and go the police station to report the murder.
Police Station:
You’ll report the murder and now need to decide where to go next.
The crypt:
Look at the chart on the wall to see who’s in which crypt. You only need to examine the victims of Jack. Walk to the right and use coffin VIII (Annie Chapman). Use the crowbar to prise the lid open and you’ll notice the rouge and the smell of ammonia. Use the crowbar on coffin IX (Elizabeth Stride) to notice the same. Repeat with coffin XIII (Mary Nichols) to find a pattern. Use coffin XVI (Catherine Eddowes) to complete the examination.
Police Station:
Talk to the chief and all murder locations will be added.
Bucks Row:
Look at the door and the blood. In the right corner of the door is a cigarette butt. Look at it to see the brand. In the wall is a piece of paper but you’re not able to get it out. You need something sharp.
The Mortuary:
You’ll ask for the SCALPEL of the doctor and return to Bucks Row.
Bucks Row:
Use the scalpel with the card on the wall to cut it out and read the card. It’s the BUSINESS CARD of Lord Busby.
Browns Lane:
At the gate on the left is another cigarette butt. Look at it to get the details. On the ground is a silver cane tip but when you want to pick it up, it’s snatched before your eyes. Talk to the broken fence to ask the tip from the man but he might want to trade you for it. If you bring him fish and chips.
Puddles Way:
Enter the fish and chips shop and learn that you can’t because there’s no coal yet. In the meantime, ask the frier about the knife, the cane and his height. Enter the shop again and this time you’ll get the FISH AND CHIPS.
Browns Lane:
Give the fish and chips through the opening in the fence and you’ll get the silver CANE TIP in return. You’ll also get more information about Jack.
Dutfields Yard:
Against the wall is a GOLDEN BUTTON. It might be from the killer. On the ledge is another cigarette end. Examine it to find the resemblance with the other sites. Look at the blood on the wall to read the writing. It will also tell you something about the height of the murderer. And then Solomon shows up and tells you some details about the murderer.
Mitre Square:
Examine and smell the blood pool. On the left of it is a cigarette butt. Examine it as well. Familiar brand. Look at the drain cover and what might lurk underneath. Smell the drain to get suspicious. Use the crowbar with the cover to remove it and get the BOTTLE OF QUININE from it.
Miller’s Court:
Examine the bed and pillow. Smell both to discover the ammonia. Examine the cigarette butt on the floor and take the SHOULDER PAD from the floor. It must be from the killer as well.
Lord Busby’s:
Use the door to enter the mansion and talk to Lord Busby. He’ll eventually admit his presence at the scene and tell you about Petulia Davis. Look around the place. Next to the books you can find a cane and examining it, you’ll notice the tip is missing. There’s a bottle of quinine on the bookcase. Talk about the bottle, the pictures and statuettes, the bookcase and the drinks cabinet. Behind the sofa you can find a boot. Talk about it and Mrs Busby will say it’s Lord’s, the Lord will say it’s not his.
Look at the jacket hanging from the fireplace and ask Lord Busby about it. Look at the chair on the left. You can see some powder on it. Talk about the powder, it appears to be the Lord’s as well.
Military Store:
Talking to the shopkeeper, you’ll learn that the jacket was used by the theatre and then acquired by Lord Busby. Talk about all the items on display: backpacks, uniforms and especially the swords. This will learn that a surgical knife was stolen recently.
Drury Lane:
Talking to Petulia she will tell you about the night of the murder and what she saw. Use the door of the theatre to realise that all evidence leads to a theatre involvement. But the theatre won’t let you in without a warrant or a rehearsal pass. You’ll ask Ms. Davis where to get a pass and she’ll give you an address.
Starlight Agency:
Talking to the agent, you’ll get a REHEARSAL PASS. Use the bin on the left to find an interesting paper and ask the agent about it.
Drury Lane:
Use the door to the theatre and once inside, look at everyone and talk to everyone. Then you need to lure the killer out of the theatre. Use the door on the right to enter the changing room. The lockers are well… locked. Use the door in the back to go back stage and walk to the left to enter the dressing room. Walk to the lower left to enter the props storage. Look at everything and in the end use the scalpel on the carboard boxes on the right to get a piece of WIRE out.
Leave the room on the right and use the door on the right to enter the changing room. The lockers are well… locked but with the wire you can pick the lock. Eventually when you get to the locker on the lower right, you’ll see all the items belonging to the ripper. You’ll go on stage and make an announcement, then hide in the toilet. Once the ripper opens the locker, you’ll chase him to backstage. The ripper will climb the ladder and when you try to do the same, the ripper will throw sandbags at you.
Keep trying to climb until the ripper runs out of sandbags but then you’ll encounter the grease paint. Walk to the left to the changing room and take the GREASEPAINT REMOVER from the table. Walk further to the left into the props room and take the CLOTH in front of the skull and globe. Use the door in the back to return to the dressing room and use the door to return back stage. In your inventory, use the cloth with the greasepaint remover and use the damp cloth on the ladder to clean it.
Once you’ve climbed the ladder, walk the walkway to the left, then cross and follow the ripper to the right. In the arched opening, use the rope to lower yourself into the dumpster and apprehend the ripper.
