Beyond The Horizon Walkthrough Warning! This page contains the complete solution or walk-through to this game. Reading this page can spoil the challenge to complete the game by yourself. Please consider this when reading on. The walk-through of this game given here might not be the optimal solution, it’s a solution. Just to prove that the game can be finished. After talking to your partner, he takes the left of the building, you the right.

Look at the locker on the right. It’s locked but you can see a small latch. Use your police badge on the locker to move the latch and the locker is open. Use the locker to find the COCAINE and a WRENCH. Walk to the right on the north to see what else is in the corridor.

Use the wrench on the bike to take the SADDLE POST from it. Use a plastic bag from your inventory on the trash can to find a SCREWDRIVER in it. On the far right use the handle bar to open the door but it’s locked. Use it again to hear a scratching noise and again to break the HANDLE BAR from the door. There’s only a hook left. Now you can’t get out anymore.

Walk back to the left and use the screwdriver on the shelf opposite the locker to pry the ROPE from it. Walk back to the right again to return to the door. Use the rope on the door to open it just a little bit. Not enough to get through yet. In your inventory use the handle bar and the saddle post to create a makeshift crowbar. Use it on the door to open it further. Walk through the opening to the storage room on the right. Look at the barrels and walk towards them. Then you’ll notice the masked man.

Talk to the man and as soon as he tries to shoot you, Jake walks in and is being shot.  You can now:

[1] Use your gun and shoot in the direction of the masked man. You’ll hit some barrels and since Jake was smoking the place will blow up. You’ll end up in the hospital.

or

[2] Use Jakes body to try to save him. The masked man is still there and now tries to shoot you. You’ll be hit and taken to the hospital.

Talk to the man who just entered. He’ll try to accuse you of the murder of Jake. He’s Ryan Maloy. After the conversation and his departure, you need to gather evidence. Use the wardrobe next to the table to get dressed and take the VASE from the bedside cabinet. From the table take the bowl with FRUIT.

Push the red button next to the bed and quickly walk left of the door to hide behind when the nurse steps in. As soon as she does, use the vase on her to knock her out. Use the nurse to take her CLOTHES. In your inventory use the bowl of fruit with the clothes to put the apples in. Use the clothes on yourself to dress as a nurse and use the door to leave.

Outside the guard will hear your cough and offer you some sweets. Just refuse them: you hate mints. Walk to the right and use the door on the right to enter the lavatory. Use the bowl from the fruit on the sink to fill it with WATER. Leave the room and walk to the left twice to reach the nurses room. The door is locked but when you use the bowl with water on the device left of the door the lock will fail and you can enter the room.

Use the keycabinet against the wall to find a note instead of a key. At least you have Barney’s number. Use the garbage can to find a bottle with one white PILL in it. Look at it in your inventory to learn it’s a sedative. On the counter at the bottom is a glass with PILLS.  Look at them in your inventory to see they are yours. Walk to the right to leave the room, walk to the right again to return to the guard. Talk to him and he’ll ask if you want the mints again. This time accept to receive the MINTS.

In your inventory use the mints with the one pill. Then return the mints to the guard. Walk to the right and return to the left to find the guard asleep. Take the MULTITOOL from his hands and walk to the right. Use the door of the toiletson the right and use the multitool on the condom vender to take the COINS from the slot. Leave the toilet and walk to the left twice to reach the candy vending machine. Use the coins with the machine to get a CHOCOLATE BAR.  Use the door of the nurses room to enter. Use the multitool on the panel under the sink to open it. Take the package of KETCHUP out. Leave the room on the right and walk to the left.

Talk to the patient there. He wants his medication. Try to use the elevator and the patient will prevent it. Walk back to the right and use the door of the nurses room again. Use the numberpad on the lock and use all the codes available until you get the correct code. The locker opens and you can now take the PLACEBO out. In your inventory use the placebo with the ketchup to create red pills. Walk to the right to leave the room and walk to the left to return to the patient.

Give the red pills to the patient and he’ll let you pass. Use your own clothes to find a KEY. Use the glass with pills on yourself to kill the pain and then use the button left of the elevator door to call the elevator.  Use the key on the keyhole next to the B to get to the basement. Exit the elevator and you’re in the archive. Look at the boxes on the shelves. There’s one of Jake. Use the box to find it’s not his stuff inside. Look at the box next to it named Dereck Wattson and there are Jake’s belongings. You take his GUN and his BADGE.

Walk to the south and use the file cabinet. When asked what name to search, enter ‘McKormik’ as Jake’s last name. You’ll read information you already knew but isn’t true. Then try to search for ‘Wattson’. It looks like some files were switched. Look at the shredder next to the file cabinet. There’s a paper stuck. Use the multitool on the shredder to get the PAPER out. It’s from Ryan Maloy. Look at the paper in your inventory to learn the name of the pathologist.

Walk to the south back to the storage and a nurse will show up. There are two ways to get rid of her.

[3] Give the chocolate to the nurse. She’ll walk towards you and as soon as she does, walk towards the elevator. Push the button.

[4] Use the multitool on the shelf to your left and use the shelf itself several times until the state above the door falls off and hits the nurse on the head knocking her out.

Use the elevator and talk to Jake. Use the 0-button above the B to send the elevator to the ground floor. Exit the elevator and you’ll leave the hospital to  see a city map. Select the hospital on the map. On the ground is a BRANCH. Pick it up. Try to take the cigarettes from the bench and talk to the patient who is preventing that. You won’t get the cigarettes. Walk to the left to return to the map and select the Fabulous House of Madame Lala in the dark blue section of the map.

Talk to Madame Lala and learn about Jake and ask the whereabouts of Dr. Janson. She’ll refer you to a phonebook. Look at the posters on the wall. Use the multitool on the pillows on the right to get a FEATHER out of them. Use the door to leave again and go to the burnt down warehouse in the lower left of the map. When you try to enter the premise, you’re yelled at. They don’t want you to enter. Walk around the fence to the bucket with paint on the left and use the branch to drag the bucket closer. Use the feather with the bucket of paint to color it yellow.

Walk to the left to see the map again and return to Madame Lala. Give her the feather and she’ll start looking for Twinkles in her crystal ball. When she’s distracted, take the POSTER of Cthulhu from the wall. Use the door to leave the witch. On the map go to the parking lot next to the hospital.

Talk to the man in the phone booth to try to get the phonebook. He won’t leave. Use the poster of Cthulhu on the booth and you’ll scare him off. Use the phonebooth to find that the book is missing. Maybe you can call for information. Use Jakes badge (from the toolbar) on the cell to have contact with him. He’ll remember his small change in his wallet. Look in the wallet in your inventory to find the COINS. Use the coins on the phone to insert them and then use the phone to call for information.

Jake tells you you should call the nurse. She knows more. But he only knows her first name. So call Barney: 5-2000-379. When he asks who’s calling, enter the name of Janson in the box. Ask about Emma to learn her last name. Use the phone again and this time call Directory Assistance. Enter Warden as name and the operator will give you the address and phonenumber of Emma Warden. Next ask for Janson to learn his number and address.  Enter Maloy’s name to found out where he lives. Use the phone again and enter Janson’s number: 24976. When Janson asks who’s calling, tell him you’re Maloy.

Ask Janson about the orders and he’ll tell you about you. He’ll ask you about the secret you have. Ask him what secret and he’ll tell about his misdeeds with the organs.  Leave the phone and walk to the right to see the map.

[if 3] Select Emma’s apartment on the map and use the bell next to the front door to have a conversation with her. Ask her about Dr. Janson. She’ll give you the evidence you need. Leave again.

[if 4] Select Emma’s apartment on the map and use the bell next to the front door. Emma won’t answer. Next to the bush on the right are some stones. Pick up the small STONE and use it on the window. Repeat that with the bigger STONE and finally throw the biggest STONE. The nurse goes knock out for the third time. Use the window to climb in and use Mrs Warden to talk to her. Ask her about the blackmail and she’ll give you proof. Leave the house again.

Go to Janson’s house on the red part of the map. In front of the hedge are WIRE CUTTERS. Pick them up and use the front door to talk to Dr. Janson. Tell him about the conspiracy with Dr. Maloy and the witness you have.  Aks him all he knows and he’ll tell the story. Leave the house and walk to the left to see the map.

You are now confronted with the option to visit the commisioner [5]  or call the commisioner [6].

[5] Select Maloy’s residence on the map. Use the door to enter and find him hanging on a rope. Use Jakes badge on the dangling body to learn that his spirit is in the closet. Use Jakes badge on the wardrobe and learn about the murder. Use the phone to call the police. Tell them everything and you’re asked to wait outside the house.Walk to the left to leave the house.  Talk to the man in the police car and you’ll be asked to give the evidence. Give the paper with agreement and tell about Emma, the witness. You’re asked to return to the hospital again. Walk to the right and Jake will tell you about Anderson.

[6] Select the parking lot on the map. Use the phone and ask the Directory Assistent for Maloy and you’ll get his address. Then leave the phone and walk to the right. On the map select Maloy’s residence. Talk to the man in the police car and you’ll be asked to give the evidence. Give the paper with agreement and tell about Emma, the witness. You’re asked to watch after the witness. Walk to the right and select Emma’s apartment on the map. Once in her home, use her to take care of her. When finished, walk south to leave her house. Walk to the right and select Maloy’s house on the map. This time there’s an ambulance. Talk to the commisioner and ask what happened. You should return to the hospital. Walk to the right and Jake will tell you about Anderson.

Select the warehouse again. Use the wirecutters on the fence next to the toolkit and use the toolkit to take a SCREWDRIVER out. Use the toolbox once more to get the WIRE with spade contacts. Walk to the south to return to the map and select Anderson’s residence on the lower right.

Pick up the NEWSPAPER next to the intercom. Look at the paper five times until you find the ARTICLE about the pharmacy scam. Use the intercom and try to talk your way into the house. But no matter what reason you come up with, they won’t let you in. Walk to the left twice until you see a camera mounted on the fence. The fence is wired so use the wire from your inventory on the fence and then use the other end of that wire on the wire leading to the camera to short circuit the equipment.

Use the bushes on the left to find the control panel behind it. In the center is a panel attached with screws. Use the screwdriver on the panel to open it up and find the overide safety lock behind it. Push the red button and set the lever on the right to the ‘evaporate’ level to disable the security system totally.

Take the cable leading from the bush to the gate from the gate to remove the power and walk to the right. Use the gate here to climb it and try to open the little window. It won’t open. Use the gate again to climb back and walk to the right to return to the front of the house. Walk south to go to the map and select the hospital on it. Give the article to the patient next to the bench and ask if it’s about his medication. It’s not. His pills are red.

Walk to the left and go to Emma’s apartment. Use the bell next to the door and once inside the building take the red MARKER from the table. In your inventory use the marker on the article to change the color. Put the marker back on the table and walk south to leave the apartment. Then walk to the left and return to the hospital on the map. Give the article to the patient again and this time he’ll move away from the bench. Pick up the CIGARETTES and use them on Jakes badge in your inventory. You can make Jake leave his date but you have to find a way to get the cigarettes to him.

Walk to the left and select Madame Lala’s place on the map. Give the cigarettes to Madame Lala and tell her you’d like to offer them  to Jake. When she’s done, use the door to leave and return to the Anderson’s estate. Walk left to the side of the house and climb the fence again. Use the small window to enter the basement of the house.

There’s a painting on the wall. Use the wire cutters on the painting to take the CANVAS and take the LETTER that is revealed.  When try to walk over the carpet, Jake will warn you.  Pick up the PLANK in the corner and take the wooden piece of STATUE. Use the wooden piece on the yellow pedestal to put it next to it and use the plank on both to knock the heavy pedestal over.

A lot of junk falls out of the cupboard but also a SABRE. Take it with you and walk towards the door. The door is locked from the other side. Use the canvas on the door to slide it under and use the screwdriver with the door to poke the key out of the lock. Pull back the canvas and the KEY is yours. Use the key on the door to unlock it and use the door to leave the basement.

You’ll hear the conversation about the security system. Better be carefull. Use the door in the middle to enter the laundry room. On the shelf in the back is some DETERGENT. Take it and also pick up the dirty SOCK from the floor. Use the laundry basket on the floor to find a NOTE and a MASK. It’s the mask you’ve seen before. Read the note in your inventory to find more evidence.

Use the door on the left to leave the laundry room and when you walk further to the right, a dog will appear, preventing you from walking further. In your inventory use the sock with the sabre and use the combination with the dog. This familiar smell will make him leave. Use the detergent on yourself to cover your own odor and use the mask on yourself to disguise yourself. You can now walk further to the right.

Use the armor suit on the right to take the SWORD from it and walk further to the right to enter the kitchen. There’s something lying under the fridge. Use the sword on the blue thing under it to find the CASETTE TAPE. Walk to the left to leave the kitchen and walk up the stairs. Walk to the right twice and use the door on the far right to enter an office. Use the tape on the phone which has an answering machine. Listening to the tape you have all the evidence you need.

Leave the room on the left and walk to the far left. The last door next to the window is locked from the inside. You can do two things:

[7] Use your gun on the door and shoot it open. Inside you will find Howard Anderson pointing a gun at you. Use your gun to shoot the criminal. He’ll die.

[8] Take the letter you found behind the painting and shove it under the door. The door will be opened. Use your gun on Howard to shoot him in the leg.

    I like this ways. I think game is same almost people like this and i like to together alone is not much to compare a think to think
