Please consider this when reading on. The walk-through of this game given here might not be the optimal solution, it’s a solution. Just to prove that the game can be finished. The hotel:

Take the LETTER OPENER from the desk. Use the drawer under it to open it and look inside to take a MAP of Prague out. Use the suitcase to take the CAMERA out and use the suitcase again to take the TORCH. Look in your inventory at the bracelet to learn the name Strahov. Use the computer on the desk and start Internet Explorer. Click on the Ogle Search button and type Strahov. Click OK and the page of the monastery will show.

Look at the map on the page to find out where to find the monastery. Use the X at the upper right to close the application, click Start and OK to leave the computer. Walk to the left to leave the hotel. Walk to the left three times to reach the church. Walk to the south, then to the north to reach tower bridges. Walk under the arch and right after that turn left. There’s the monastery. Looking around you can’t see a way to get inside. Walk further to the left and the only thing that might give you entrance is the tree. Try to climb it and the dog will start barking.

Walk back to the right twice and then south. Turn left in front of the towers.  Walk to the left again and enter the bar.  Use the glass on the bar to order a beer. Talk to the barman and ask about Kampa. Talk again and ask about Prague, talk about Castle and talk about Bridge. The barman can tell you a lot.  Exit your seat and take the HOTDOG from the table. Behind the barman is a bottle of VODKA. Use it to buy it. Walk to the south to leave the bar and look at the map in your inventory. Select Strahov on the map. Walk left again to visit the dog.

In your inventory use the vodka with the hotdog and give the combination to the dog. That should keep him quiet for a while. Climb the tree and realize you need to climb down also. Use the map in the inventory and select the hotel on it. Use the door to go inside.

Use the letter opener on the trunk on the right to break the lock. Use the open trunk to get the SHEET out. Use the letter opener on the sheet to rip it and use both pieces together to make a string. Open the wardrobe on the left and take a COAT HANGER out. Use the coat hanger with the string of sheets. Walk to the left to leave the room and outside select Strahov on the map. Walk to the left and use the coat hanger with string on the tree. Use the rope to climb to the other side.

Use the door to enter the monastery. On the left is a heavy stone door. You can’t open it with your bare hands. Left of the door is a triangular lock. Take the bracelet and put it in the lock. The door will open. Walk inside and view the crypt. In the center of the crypt is a red book. Look at it to see what’s inside. Look at the picture of the devil and the picture of Strahov. Turn the page and you’ll be interrupted by someone entering. You’ll hide and witness a rite.

When the monks are gone, look at the body and find a piece of PAPER in the pockets. In the right hand is a part of the SHROUD. Take it and in your inventory combine the three pieces of shroud. Look at the completed mask. Look at the paper you took from the pocket. It contains codes. Walk to the right to leave the crypt and in the corridor walk to the lower right. You’ll see a door with the Strahov symbol on it. Use the symbol to take a closer look and see that the symbol is not correct. You need to position the spots at the right location.

The symbol can be divided in three corners and two S-symbols. The corners will rotate the ball and the S-symbol will rotate the ball.

To get the ball in the right position and open the door:

Right S twice, Top corner twice, Right corner twice, Left S once, Left corner once, Top corner twice, Right corner twice. The door will  unlock and you can use the door to enter the room. Look around in the library.  Look at the shelves. They all have letters. That was the same with the paper you’ve found.

Use section D (left side) and enter number 34. The J section is in the back, upper right. Use the ladder in front of the shelves to move it and use the ladder again to climb it. Use section J and enter 128 as number. Exit the stairs and use the T section in the front to enter number 85. You now have three BOOKS.

Look at the globe in the center. There are several holes where several places are. Use the globe to spin it and see another side of the world with similar holes and places. Looking at the books you see three titles. Use the first letter of each title and find a city with the same letter. The book from the D-shelf is titled “Rising of modern economy” so you should find Rome. The book from the J-shelf is titled “Kerchies: yashmaks of the orient” which represents Kyoto and the book from the T-shelf is titled “Lawyers induced my arrest” which should bring you to Lima. Use your pen in each of these three cities’ holes and the globe will open.

Look at the open globe again and find a book inside. Use the globe to take the BOOK. It’s the same one as the one in the crypt and when you tried to read the last page, you were interrupted.  So flip through the book to see the last page is… ripped out. Exit the book and leave the library on the left.  In the corridor walk to the left and walk to the north to leave the monastery. Use the rope to climb the fence and on the street use the map to return to the hotel. Use the door to enter your room.

Use the computer and start Internet. In Ogle, click the search button and type the name of the book: Breaking the spell. The result page will show the author. Close the application with the X in the upper right corner and click Start and OK to leave the computer. Walk to the left to go outside again.

There’s a monk waiting for you but you better not go near him. Whichever way you go, there are monks everywhere. When you approach them, you die. Walk to the right and enter the theater. You’ll see a show that might give a clue on how to get rid of the monks. When you’re outside again, look at the car and read the numberplate.

Walk to the left and walk towards the manhole in front of the hotel. When you’re near and look at it you can see a bunch of keys and a label with a numberplate. Try to get the keys. Try to use the pen. Use the pen with the letter opener to make it longer but they won’t stick. Walk to the left and look at the poster of the theater. Take the TAPE from the lower right corner and use it on the pen/opener combination. Walk back to the right and use the pen/opener device on the manhole to take the KEYS out.

Walk to the right and use the keys on the car to open the tank. Now you need something to carry the fuel in. Walk to the left and in front of the hotel use the low roof to climb on. Walk to the left and on the other side use the board laying there to slide across the street. Walk further to the left and in the next street is a POT. Take the it, there’s no need to climb down. On the other side of the street is a wash tub with a cabinet underneath. Use the cabinet to open it and take the TUBE out. Exit the cabinet and walk to the right, back to the hotel. Use the roof again to climb down.

Walk to the right and use the pot on the car to find a hole in the pot. Walk to the left and use the door of the hotel to enter. Take the CANDLE from the night stand and use the lighter in your inventory on the candle to light it. Use the lit candle with the pot so the wax closes the hole. Leave on the left and walk to the right to the car. Use the tube with the closed pot and use the combination on the car to get the FUEL out.

Walk to the left and climb the low roof again. Walk to the left and cross the board. Use the pot with fuel on the corner of that block so the fuel pours down the drain. Use the bottle of vodka on the same spot and then in your inventory light the candle. Use the burning candle on the corner and the monk will be set on fire.

Walk to the right and use the roof to climb down. Look at the map in your inventory and select Kampa on it. Walk to the left and enter the bar. Use the glass on the bar to order a beer and talk to the barman (galina). Ask him about Galina Kocimelova and he’ll tell you about the house and where to find it.

Leave the barman and the pub and walk to the left. There’s the 7 devils house. Look at the devils faces and try the door to find someone home but not answering. You need to clean the faces. Use the map and select the Old Square. Walk to the right and use the cabinet under the washtub. Take the RAG out. Exit the cabinet and use the map again to return to Kampa.

Use the rag on the river to make it wet and then walk to the left twice to go back to devils house. Now you have to remove the faces in the same order as they disappeared in the theatre. Because the top row is too high, pick up the BROOM and use the rag on the broom. Then remove the faces as follows: number the top row from 1 to 4 from left to right. Then use the wet rag on the bottom left, 3, 1, bottom right, 2 and 4.

Galina will come out, thank you, tell about the red book and Jodo  and invite you in to read your future. When outside, walk to the right and enter the bar. Take the glass from the counter to order a beer and talk to the barman. Ask him about Jodo. He’ll tell you where to find one and you can leave the bar. Walk to the right, then north onto the bridge. Walk south once and use the wall on the left to jump into the water.

Jodo’s lost her hat. Take a BAMBOO STICK and use it on the rock. The stick will break. Use the letter opener on the ALGA to take a piece with you. Take a BAMBOO STICK twice and use them together. Then use the alga on the sticks to tie them together. Use the combination on the rock again and the rock will move. Take the HAT and give it to Jodo.

Swim to the right and look at the bookcase. All expensive books but not the one you’re looking for. Swim back to the left and talk to Jodo again. She won’t help you. Go to the surface to leave the water. Use the lighter in your inventory on the red book in your inventory. Walk to the right to enter the water again. Swim to the right to the bookcase and there’s the red book. Try to take it and you can get it only if you give Jodo the Wenceslaus Sword. Go to the surface to leave the water again.

Walk to the left and enter the bar. Use the glass on the bar to order a beer and talk to the barman (sword). Ask for the Wenceslaus Sword. Exit the barman and leave the bar. Walk to the right, then north and south to the part of the bridge you jumped earlier. Behind the big statue on the right is a smaller one. Look at it and see that it’s a statue of Christ. Look at his hand to see he’s pointing at something. Look at the bottom of the statue to see some writing and the shape of a wheel with something that looks like buttons. Leave the writing and leave the statue. On the bridge walk to the south, then to the right.

From the cabinet under the wash tub take the POWDER. Use the map and select Kampa on it. Use the powder with the river to make it wet. Walk to the north, then south and look at the statue again. Look at the base to see the text. Use the wet powder with the wet rag and use the powdered rag on the text to make it visible again.

Leave the text, leave the statue and walk north to the bridges and keep walking north. At the end of the street you’ll turn right. Walk up the stairs to the castle. On the wall on the south is a brick missing. Walk towards the wall a bit left of the missing brick and you’ll get a fantastic view of the bridge. The third statue from the left on this side is the statue of Christ. So this is where he was pointing at. Use the camera to take a picture.

Leave the view and use the map to select the hotel again. Use the door to enter your room and use the computer. Start the Graph application, click the A button to acquire an image and from your inventory select the camera. You’ll see an image of the statue. Use the magnifier button and zoom in on the arm of the statue. There are four dates written there: feb 27, aug 24, oct 6 and jun 4. Close the application with the X in the upper right corner and click Start and Ok to leave the computer. Walk to the left to leave the room.

Outside walk to the left three times and you’re at the old square. Look at the town hall tower on the left to view the old astronomical clock.   First of all you need to translate the months into zodiac signs: feb 27 is pisces, aug 24 is leo, oct 6 is libra and jun 4 is gemini. Now you don’t need to know how the astronomical clock works, all you need is the inner circle that show the zodiac signs. Counting clockwise and starting at the top, pisces is the 6th, leo is 1st, libra is 11th and gemini is the 3rd sign.  Walk to the left and look at the statue again. Look at the base and the buttons in a circle above it. Number the buttons from 1 to 12 starting at the top counting clockwise. Push the buttons 1, 3, 6 and 11.

Take the WENCESLAUS SWORD and leave the base and the statue. Walk to the north and go left to the river. Use the water to the right to go in and give the sword to Jodo. You can now get the book. Swim to the right and take the RED BOOK. Swim to the surface to leave the water. Look at the red book. You can now read the last page. So to preform the anti-rite you need to find the anti-christ. Is shows where he died by the cross, but you can’t see any places. Use the map in your inventory to go back to the hotel.

Use the door to enter your room. On the wall is a map of Europe. Use your camera to take a picture of the map. Open the red book in your inventory, go to the last page and take a picture of the triangle. Close the book and use the computer. Select the Graph application. Click the A button to acquire an image and from your inventory select the camera. The map of Europe will show. Click the magnifying glass to zoom in on a part of the map. Click the A button again to acquire another picture and select the camera from the inventory again. The page from the book will show next to the map.

Click the M button to match the images and look at the combined picture. The cross is on Vaduz. You’ll leave right away.
