The Blackwell Epiphany Walkthrough Warning! This page contains the complete solution or walk-through to this game. Reading this page can spoil the challenge to complete the game by yourself. Please consider this when reading on. The walk-through of this game given here might not be the optimal solution, it’s a solution. Just to prove that the game can be finished. You’re outside waiting for Detective Durkin but he won’t show up.

Playing as Rosa: 

Use the door to find it’s locked. Not much you can do.

Playing as Joey:

Go through the door and have a look around. Go through the door on the right to the first floor and look at the graffiti on the wall on the right. Note that there’s one word underlined. As you do you’ll see a ghost girl floating to the left through the door. Since Rosa is still outside, you can’t get close enough to the girl.

Walk downstairs again and leave through the front door to tell Rosa what you saw. She needs to get inside.

Playing as Rosa: 

Walk to the right and look at the graffiti on the wall. There’s one brick, the underlined one that Joey saw, that sounds hollow but it’s frozen stuck. Use the coffee from your inventory on the frozen brick to melt it and you can remove it. This will reveal a KEY. Take it and leave the wall. Use the key on the front door and go inside.

Playing as Joey:

Go through the door on the right and then ‘up the stairs’ through the door on the left to meet the ghost. Talk to the ghost and learn her name and that she’s expecting someone. She does not want to leave. Notice that there’s a piece of plastic on the floor. Return to Rosa.

Playing as Rosa:

Look at the elevator and notice it’s not working. Open the fuse box and turn the power switch. The fuses will blow. Walk through the door on the right and notice the box with electrical stuff on the floor. Search the box to find a FUSE. Return to the fuse box and put the good fuse in the ‘Lobby’ slot. The elevator door will open. Remove the fuse and put it in the 3rd floor slot.

Playing as Joey:

Walk through the door on the right and go up the balcony, then through the door on the left back to Mary. Look at the elevator door and notice that the elevator is stuck one floor down. Blow against the plastic thing and it’ll land on the elevator.

Playing as Rosa:

Take the fuse from the fuse box and put it in the 2nd floor slot. Leave the fuse box and go through the door on the right and then open the door on the left. When you enter the room you can see a memory stick on top of the elevator. Take the MEMORY STICK and you’ll see a photo on there with a name.

Take the NEWSPAPER from the floor and have a look at it to see what the place is about. Use the phone and click the search icon, then search for Gotham Collective. You’ll learn about the theater company and can download a list of cast member. Download the list. On the phone, select the pencil icon to see the notes and select Mary and the Cast Member list. Now you know in which play she appeared and her full name.

Use the phone’s search option and search for The River Wall. This will result in a review of the play that wasn’t too good.

Playing as Joey:

Leave the room on the right and go up the balcony and through the door on the left to return to Mary. Talk to her about the review. She’ll then eventually enter the lobby.

Playing as Rosa:

Follow her there into the lobby. Joey will join you.

Playing as Joey:

Use your tie on Mary to send her on her way.

Playing as Jocelyn:

Pick up the BRICK from the floor and use the brick to smash the window. Then enter the shop through the hole. Walk over to the counter and push the bell to find the shopkeeper.

Playing as Rosa:

After you realize the police is trying to cover up the murder, use the door to leave the house and select the police station. Talk to detective Durkin and talk about the murder. You’re not getting anywhere with him.

Playing as Joey:

Go inside the police station and go though the door on the left. Look at the notice board to learn the name and the location of the spook you saw earlier. Leave the room on the right and leave the police station. Walk to the left to leave the location and select George’s location.  Walk all the way to the left to find the elevator and read the note above the box next to it. It’s from George.

Blow on the note to take it from the wall and blow again in Rosa’s direction.

Playing as Rosa:

Pick up the NOTE and read it. Talk to the doorman behind the desk and ask about George and his clothes drive. Consult your notes and ask the man about Grace. You’ll learn that it’s a church. Walk to the right to leave the apartment block and travel to Grace Church.

Use the door to go inside and look at the prayer book. There are all handwritten prayers in it. Leave the book and use the note on the prayer book to find a prayer with the same handwriting. Now you learn about Lia.

Leave the church south and walk to the right to travel back to George’s place. Talk to the doorman, consult your notes and ask about Lia. So she was a police officer. Leave the building and travel to the police station. Talk to Sam Durkin and ask about Lia. Now you know her full name and that Sam isn’t going to help you further.

Playing as Joey:

Go inside the police station and go though the door on the left. Look at the desk on the right, it’s Lisa’s. Look at the items on the desk, especially the envelope to learn Lia’s address. Leave the office on the right and the station on the right. Walk to the left and travel to Lia’s apartment.

Playing as Rosa:

Use the mailbox next to the door to get a letter from it.

Playing as Joey: 

Enter the house and meet a little girl. When she goes into her room, follow her and talk to her. You’ll find out about her dad and Abacus. Leave the room on the right and the house on the left.

Playing as Rosa:

Use your phone and search for Abacus. It’s too generic. Remember the letter you took from the mailbox? Look at it and see the sender. You can’t read the full name but you can read ‘The Wired A…’. Use the phone again and search for Wired Abacus. This will reveal an address. Walk to the left to leave the place and travel to the Wired Abacus.

Playing as Joey:

At the top of the stairs walk to the right and enter the room on the right. Use the desk to have a look at the computer and blow against the moose. This will stop the screensaver and reveal the screen. The background has a building called Exeter House on it.

Playing as Rosa:

Use your phone and select the search function. Search for Exeter house to learn the location. Use the escalator to leave and travel to Exeter House.

Use the buzzers to enter Emil’s apartment and talk to him. He can’t help much. After having spoken about everything you’ll end up outside his apartment door.

Playing as Joey: 

Go in again and look around. Look at the photo on the desk and note the numbers on it. Leave the apartment and leave the block on the right. Outside walk to the right and travel back to the Wired Abacus.

Playing as Rosa:

Walk to the door on the right and use the keypad next to it. Enter the numbers Joey found on the picture. Use the desk and pick up the KEY to Lia’s house. Use the computer and look at the emails to learn more about Lia, Kendra and Emil. There’s this game mentioned call Trollgate.

Leave the computer and use your phone and search for Trollgate. You can download a copy for your phone so install it. Start the game to find the servers are down but you can still communicate. All you need is a username and password.

Leave the room and use the escalator to leave. Travel back to Lia’s house. Use the key on the door to go inside. Look at the key next to the door. It’s Emil’s. Could come in handy so take the KEY. Walk over to the fridge and look at the drawing. There’s a name for a troll. Leave the house again and walk to the left. Travel back to the Wired Abacus.

Talk to the man behind the desk and buy a copy of the Parental Eye SOFTWARE. Enter the office on the right (you can just go in) and use the computer. Use the software from your inventory on the screen to install the software. Leave the computer and start your phone. Start the game and log in with the username KayKay. Then click the ‘forgot password’ button and when asked for your mother’s maiden name, enter ‘Pierro’. Your password has been emailed.

Leave your phone, start the computer and start the Parental Eye software. The software will detect one email from Trollgate with the password in it. The password is random so take note. Leave the computer and start your phone again. Start the Trollgate game and login with KayKay and the password you just found. You can now see the chat log.

Read through the conversation and learn about the hole in the basement and the covering with a shelf. Leave the phone and the office and use the escalator to travel to Lia’s place. Go inside and use the door on the right to enter the basement. Try to move the shelves but instead you’ll talk to Lia. Tell her you’re the bestower.

Lia will tell you all about Kendra and ask you to save her. Ask Lia about breakfast and she’ll tell you about the secret passphrase. Leave the basement and enter Kendra’s room.

Playing as Joey:

Talk to Kendra and tell her you’ll take her to her dad. She’ll ask for breakfast and you can now tell her the right items. She’ll come with you. Leave the room on the right and the house on the left. Walk to the left and travel to Exeter House.

Playing as Rosa:

Use the key to open the front door and go to Emil’s front door.

Playing as Joey:

Once you go inside, Kendra realizes she’s dead. Back in the hall outside the apartment, give your tie to Kendra.

Playing as Rosa:

Travel back to Lia’s place and go inside. Walk through the door on the right into the basement. Use the shelves again to get Lia’s attention and tell her Kendra’s safe. She won’t tell you any more until she’s safe.

Playing as Joey:

Give your tie to Lia ans Rosa will take her to a safe place and Lia will tell all about the Grace Group. Once Rosa returns, the police enter the building.

Playing as Jocelyn:

Look at the poster and then talk to Joey. Ask him about Danny and their music.

Playing as Madeline:

Talk to Joey. Persuade him to tell you what he knows.

Playing as Rosa:

Follow Joeys advice and don’t tell the police anything. Once the cop is gone and Sam is left behind, ask him for information about the case and access to the locations.

Back at home use your phone and look at the new emails. Sam sent you a file with information so download it. Leave your phone and use the door to leave your apartment. Select the police station. Go inside and you’ll talk to officer Palmer. Talk about everything and try to get as much information as possible. Then leave him. Outside walk to the left and select George Ostin’s place.

Talk to the doorman and he’ll give you the KEY to George’s apartment. Walk to the left and use the elevator to reach George’s apartment. On the desk on the right is a tablet. Look at it to see a missed call from Michael with a phone number. Look at the emails to learn more about Michael. Leave the tablet and use your phone to dial Michael’s number. There’s no answer.

Leave the apartment and go directly outside, then select the police station. Go inside and talk to officer Palmer. Consult your notes and tell him about Michael’s number. He’ll tell you it traces back to Grace Church. Leave the station and walk to the left, then head to Grace Church.

Enter the church and talk to the priest. Consult your notes and ask about Michael’s number. Then ask him about the telephone and he’ll accidentally tell Michael’s last name. Use your phone and search for Michael Cooper. He was a priest. Talk to the priest again and he’ll tell you all. He’ll give you a KEY to the school where Michael is hiding at the moment. You’ll leave the church.

Select Grace School and use the door to go inside. Try to talk to Michael and he’ll explain all. Eventually Madeline appears. She’ll go outside. Talk to Michael again to learn more, then go outside and talk to Madeline. Learn all about the torn souls and your task. After the conversation, go back into the school and talk to Michael again.

Talk about the Grace Group and keep exhausting the subject. Finally he’ll tell you about Benjiro. Then he’ll tell you the other names of the group. Ask him everything he knows about them and how they died. Leave the school and outside talk to Madeline about the new names. She can’t tell you much.

Walk to the right to leave the area and travel to the police station. Go inside and ask officer Palmer about the names. Peter Fielding’s search results in his gym location. Leave the station and walk to the left, then select Peter’s gym.

Since the gym is for members only and you don’t have a key card, it’s time for Joey.

Playing as Joey:

Enter the gym and walk into the men’s room on the right. Here you’ll find a ghost. Talk to him to see it’s Peter. Talk about everything you can and learn about the Grace Group meetings and his father. Leave the locker room and look at the celebrity endorsement next to the door. Then leave the gym to return to Rosa. Then walk to the right and travel to Grace School.

Talk to Madeline about what you’ve learned. She’ll come up with a plan. Go inside and talk to Michael. Ask him about Peter and Heather and he’ll reveal Heather’s history. He’ll give you her address as well. Leave the school and walk to the right, then go to Heather’s place.

Go through the gate and talk to the ghost. It’s Heather. She isn’t much help other than mentioning a Ray. Go through the gate again and go to the right. Travel to the police station.

Playing as Rosa:

Enter the station and talk to officer Palmer. Consult your notes and ask for Ray. His search will result in the address of the Vantini bar. Leave the station and outside walk to the left to go to the Vantini bar. Use the door to go inside and talk to the lady at the table. She appears to be Ray. Talk to her about Heather but you won’t get much information. If only you could see that client list. Leave the bar on the right and the area on the left. Travel back to the gym.

Playing as Joey:

Enter the gym and go through the men’s door on the right. Talk to Peter and ask him for personal training sessions. Peter will give you his number in case you need to reschedule. Leave the gym and outside walk to the right and travel to the police station.

Playing as Rosa:

Enter the station and talk to officer Palmer. Consult your notes and ask about Peters phone number. The officer will find an address to go with it. Leave the station and go to Fielding’s apartment. Knock on the door and try to get in but no matter what you do, you won’t get anywhere.

Playing as Joey:

Enter the apartment and look around. Next to the couch there’s a member card from the gym. Blow against it and it’ll fall on the floor. On the table is a paper and when you look at it, you’ll learn the case number for the Karth House case. Switch to Rosa.

Playing as Rosa:

Check the notes on your phone and combine the case number with the Karth list. This will result in Maggie Fielding, Peter’s sister. Knock on the door again and talk to the woman. This time she’ll let you in and you can talk about Peter. As soon as you’re in, pick up the CARD. Then talk to Maggie and ask about her father and she’ll give you his address. Then leave the apartment, walk to the left and visit Fielding Sr.

It appears to be the cemetery and when you look at the tomb stone on the left, you’ll learn Mr. Fielding’s first name and that he was in the army. Leave the cemetery and go to the police station. Go inside and ask officer Palmer about Conner Fielding. He can access the information but only if you have his service number.

Leave the station and walk to the left, then go to the gym. Since you now have a member card, use it on the card reader and enter the gym. Pick up the picture from the floor. Look at the picture to see Conor’s service number. Leave the gym again and walk to the right, then go back to the police station. Talk to officer Palmer and give him the service number.

Officer Palmer finds records of what seems domestic violence but can’t be sure. Leave the station, walk to the left and go to Fieldings. Talk to Maggie and tell her about her father. She’ll ask you to leave and once outside her apartment, she’ll follow telling she’s visiting her father. Go to Greenwood and talk to Maggie. It all appears to be about Peter but she doesn’t want to talk about it yet. Walk to the right and leave the cemetery, then travel to Vantini to see if you can get to that client list.

Playing as Joey:

Blow against the glass on Ray’s table. The bartender will be leaving the bar.

Playing as Rosa:

Whilst the bartender is cleaning up, use the emergency exit. If you want to get to the upper level, you need to reach the ladder and to do that, you need to use the dumpster. But it’s covered with ice. Take the RAG from the dumpster and then use your coffee on the dumpster to melt the ice. Use the rag to clean the sludge and then use the dumpster to climb it.

Jump from the dumpster to the ladder with your arms extended to grab the ladder and climb up. Use the window to get into the apartment. Use the computer on the left to transfer the client list to your phone.

Walk south to leave the room and you’ll be greeted by Ray. She’ll ask you for the memory stick which you’ll give her. You’ve got the info on your phone anyway. Once outside, travel to the gym.

Look at the calendar. Take the marker and select the month. Turn it to March. Then circle the 18th, the day Peter’s father died.

Playing as Joey:

Go into the men’s room on the right and talk to Peter. Tell him to reschedule your appointment. Peter will go to the calendar and see the date circled. He’ll think it’s the 18th and leave the gym to go to the cemetery. Leave the gym walk to the right and travel to Greenwood.

Playing as Rosa:

Talk to Maggie and she’ll explain. Peter will no know what happened to her and Maggie won’t hate him anymore. And Peter remembers again. This is the moment Joey can grab Peter’s soul and bring it to father Michael.

Now you need to go after Heather. Leave the school and walk to the right, then travel to George’s apartment. Inside go through the door on the right onto the balcony. You’ll meet a ghost here. The next door on the right is locked.

Playing as Joey:

Go through the door on the right and talk to the ghost. You have to figure out who she is and in the end you recognize her from the picture in the gym. It’s Tanya Corsey. On the floor is a note. It’s too dark ro read it but if you blow against it, it goes towards the window and now you can read it. Leave the apartment and return to Rosa.

Playing as Rosa:

Use your phone to search for Tanya. You’ll learn about the studio she worked in so time to pay them a visit. Walk through the door on the left and use the door north to leave the apartment. Go straight outside and travel to the newsroom.

Talk to the man behind the desk to find it’s Jim Peebles. Ask him about his work and about Tanya. On your phone, use the notes and combine Jim with the client list. He’s on there! He knew Heather. Since you’ve read the note in Tanya’s apartment he can’t hide it anymore.

Tanya and Heather are one person and Jim was involved in both. After leaving the newsroom, travel back to George’s apartment.

Playing as Joey:

Go through the door on the right onto the balcony and then through the door on the right again to enter Tanya’s apartment. Talk to her and tell her you know who she is. Tell her she needs to follow you. Go through the door on the left to leave and use the door on the left again to leave the balcony. Then use the door north. Travel to Heather.  Go through the gate and let Tanya and Heather work it out.

In front of the church talk to Madeline and when there’s nothing more to say, use your tie on her to strangle the spirit out of Rosa. She now has to rectify everything. .

Playing as Rosa:

Walk to the right and meet your auntie. Talk to her until there’s nothing more to say.

Playing as Joey:

Go through the wall on the right and use the door on the right. It looks like an empty room but just as you’re about to leave, a ghost appears.

Talk to the ghost and find it’s Benjiro. Talk more and he’ll tell you all about the Epiphany experiment. When he wants to show you something, follow him through the door and down the hallway to the right. Benjiro will show you the vortex and tell you its danger. Then he leaves.

Walk to the left and use the door on the left to enter Rosa’s cell. Talk to her to try to wake her up.

Playing as Rosa:

Leave your auntie and walk north around the rock. On the other side you’ll find a ledge. Try to use it but you can’t reach it so you need help. Walk back to auntie on the left and ask for help. Once she’s convinced, walk north to the ledge and then use the ledge to help each other. Leave on the left and then cross the bridge to the left. Then walk towards the light.

Back in your cell you need to get out of that straitjacket.  Move yourself across the floor towards the door and when you’re almost there, use your feet on the flap under the door.

Playing as Joey:

Walk through the wall north. You’ll be in a storage room. Go north through the door in the hallway and north through the open door. Dr. Quentin will be on the floor and you’ll also find a scalpel. Blow against the scalpel to send it into the hallway, then blow again so move it to the right. Go to the right and finally blow the scalpel towards Rosa’s cell and one last push under the flap

Playing as Rosa:

Use the scalpel to cut yourself free. Pick up the SCALPEL and use it on the padding on the wall on the left. There’s an old pipe behind it. Take the PIPE and then use the scalpel on the wall under the marked patch to reveal an old vent system behind the padding. Use the pipe on the vent to pry it off and then crawl through.

You’ll end up in the storage room and when you use the closet you’ll find your clothes and a KEY. Leave the room through the door and in the hallway walk to the right. Keep walking to the right into the office where you can see the vortex.

Use the key with the elevator to open the doors and step in. Once outside, travel to the school. Go inside and search father Michael. You’ll find a piece of CHALK on him. Go up the stairs on the right to find Madeline.

Talk to her to find that she doesn’t want to reason.

Playing as Joey:

Give your tie to Rosa to have a look on the other side of the portal.

Playing as Rosa:

Look at the platform and the use the chalk on the platform to draw a circle.

Playing as Joey: 

Use your tie on the circle to activate it with your essence and turn it into a totem. Now your tie has special powers as well. Leave through the portal on the left and use your tie on Madeline.
