You have to find out what happened to Laura.

Open the cupboard on the right. Take the KEY from the door and look at the key fob. Push the button to make another key appear. Look at the jacket hanging there to find the name in the jacket: E. Miller. There’s also a NOTE in the pocket that you can take take. On the shelf on the right is a HARDDRIVE. Take the disk and use it on the computer at the bottom of the screen to insert it in the machine.

Use the computer and use the harddrive on the right. To use it you should set it to the right configuration by using the small switches. The use the disk as secondary drive, use the switches from left to right and put 1 up, 2 up, 3 down and 4 up. Use the computer and you’ll see extra info on the screen.

Start with a USERSEARCH and search for miller. This will get you his username on the system: millerlite. While you’re at it, you might as well USERSEARCH for Gibson. But Laura isn’t known on the system.  Leave the computer and walk to the desk on the left. On the wall are some notes, one is about the use of passwords. Look at the note you took from the jacket to see how you can decipher a password.

Use the terminal and as username use millerlite, as password enter r0p33a53. But you have no internet connection. You need somehow find a way to restore it. Use the key you revealed in the fob on the drawer of the desk and take the FOLDER out. It’s locked with the cheap number lock.  Open your wallet in your inventory and take the MULTITOOL from it. Leave the wallet and look at the cap. On the left side of the cap is a wire loose. Use the multitool to take the WIRE from the cap.

Look closer at the folder and use the wire on the lock to snap it open. Take the contents from the folder, especially the DISKETTE. Leave the folder and use the terminal on the left again. Start the inbox and look at the spam folder. The last email has a link to a questionable site. But at least it opens a browser. Look at the address in the address bar and use the address bar to start a script. The security enters the room and you have some explaining to do.

You don’t have to tell them your real name and you don’t have to mention the disk. When they make you an offer, tell them you need to think about it…
