You need to get that old book fixed.
Talk to the green Elder on the left and give the old book. She’ll ask you what you want to do with it. Tell her you want to separate the glued insides and she’ll tell you about the Stardust Spray. Ask her where to find that and you’ll learn about the Carpenters Workshop. The current location isn’t known but the Nerd cats can tell you more about it so you’ll have to visit the Taxi cat to get the to Nerd cats.
Walk to the right and use the climbing plant to go to the level below and talk to the Taxi cat on the right. Bimsi doesn’t have a taxi available but when you know a location, Bimsi can mark it on your star map and then you can go there through the map. Tell Bimsi you’re looking for a party locations with an arcade. Bimsi will give you the STAR MAP with the location on it.
Look at the star map in your inventory and select the party location on the right. Talk to Monrick on the right and ask for a Nerd cat. Monrick will advise you to go downstairs to the arcade. Use the climbing plant in the center and downstairs talk to the Nerd cat on the couch. Ask for the Stardust Carpentry. You can get the coordinates if you bring some new entertainment.
Give the small book to the Nerd cat and he’ll update your star map. You need to go to the Alley cat. Give the tuna cookie to the Toy cat on the left and in return you’ll get a UNICORN SCEPTER, a pair of PUMPKIN GLASSES and a bunch of MUMBLES. Look at the star map in your inventory and select the Alley at the bottom.
The (holographic) alley cat will ask you a few riddles you need to answer:
How many times does the heart of a pink cat beat in a period of 12 hours: 7.
How many times does the heart of a turquoise cat beat in a period of 12 hours: 6.
How many times does the heart of a purple cat beat in a period of 12 hours: 2.
The map will be updated and look at the star map to select Stardust Carpentry at the top left. Look around and talk to the carpenter. Ask for Stardust Spray and learn that the carpentry doesn’t have any but the Siamese cat bought the last bit. So look at the star map and select the party location on the upper right.
Talk to the Siamese cat next to Monrick and ask for the spray. You can have it if you bring her what’s mentioned in her riddle. Give the mumbles to the Siamese cat and in return you’ll get the SPRAY. But it needs to be filled with tears from a cat first. Fortunately you’ll get the location drawn onto your map.
Look at the star map and select the pond of cat tears in the middle right of the council. Use the spray with the realm of tears. Well, that was easy. Use the spray on the old book and find a GIFT NOTE between the pages. Look at the gift note and you can’t really make out what it says: it’s mirrored. Look at the star map and select the carpentry on the upper left.
There’s a mirror on the wall and when you use the gift note with the mirror, the coordinates will become apparent. Look at the star map again and select the unknown location on the far right. You’ll meet the Star. Give the old book to the star and in return you’ll get a NEW BOOK. Look at the book in your inventory to see what it’s all about.
