Maniac Mansion Deluxe Walkthrough Warning! This page contains the complete solution or walk-through to this game. Reading this page can spoil the challenge to complete the game by yourself. With Dave, Jeff and Syd or Razor:

Syd or Razor:
Walk all the way to the left and look at the mailbox. Play further as Dave but whenever Dave hears the doorbell, switch to Syd or Razor and pickup the PACKAGE next to the mailbox.

Dave:
Walk to the left until you reach the front door. Pick up the doormat and take the KEY from underneath. Use the key with the front door to open the door and walk inside.  Close the front door again. Open the door to the right of the clock and enter the kitchen. Walk to the right with very small steps and as soon as Ms. Edna reacts, walk to the left and leave the kitchen. Enter the kitchen again and take the FLASHLIGHT from the corner of the worktop.

Walk further to the right and open the fridge. Take the can of PEPSI from the fridge and close the fridge again. Open the door on the right and walk all the way to the right through the dining room. Open the door on the right and enter the storage room. Take the FRUIT DRINKS and the glass JAR from the shelf. 

Walk all the way back to the left until you’re in the entrance hall again. Walk to the right and open the door on the right. Open the door on the right and walk into the library. It’s very dark but you can still see the silhoutte of a lamp. Use the lamp to see better and walk all the way to the right. The last panel of the bookcase is loose. Open the panel, take the CASSETTE out and close the panel again. Walk all the way back to the left to the entrance hall and go up the stairs.

Upstairs walk to the left and open the door. Enter the paint room and take the can of PAINT REMOVER from the floor. Take the PAINT BRUSH and the bowl with WAX FRUIT from the stand. Leave the room again and go through the metal door at the top of the stairs. Walk to the right and go up the stairs. Walk to the left where you’ll meet Green Tentacle. He’s hungry so give him the fruit. Now he’s thirsty. Give him the fruit drinks. He’ll leave and you can walk further to the left and up the stairs.

Open the first door on the left and enter Edna’s room. Next to the bed is a DIME. Pick it up. Walk further to the left and climb the ladder. Walk to the right and take the RECORD standing next to the stereo. Walk further to the right and take the yellow KEY from the wall. Walk back to the left, down the ladder and to the right back into the hall.Walk tree doors to the right and open the door to the fitness room. Use the Hunk-o-Matic machine right of the sarcophagus to gain some strength.

Walk to the left to leave the room, walk to the left in the hallway and go down the stairs again. Walk to the right and go down the stairs again. Walk all the way to the left go through the metal door. Then to the right into the music room. Use the cassette tape with the cassette recorder and put the record on the recordplayer. Use the cassette recorder to record and use the recordplayer to play the record. The vase on the piano will break and use the record player to the stop the record. Take the RECORD again. Use the cassette recorder to stop recording and take the CASSETTE out again.

Walk to the right and use the TV. Walk to the left to leave the room and go down the stairs. Walk to the right and enter the lounge. Open the cabinet next to the door and use the cassette with the cassette player there. Use the player to hear the tape and the chandelier will come down. Use the cassette player again to stop it and take the CASSETTE back from the player.

Walk to the right and pick up the old rusty KEY that was hanging on the chandelier. Walk to the left and leave the lounge. Keep walking to the left and leave the house. Walk to the left to Syd or Razor, standing next to the mailbox. Give Syd or Rzor the key, the old rusty key and the cassette tape.

Syd or Razor:
Give the package to Dave.

Dave:
Open the package and receive the STAMP.Walk to the bushes left of the stairs and pull them. A grating is revealed. Pull the grating and go up the stairs into the house. Walk to the right and wait at the door on the right, the one without a handle.

Syd or Razor:
Walk up the stairs into the house and push the gargoile on the right side of the stairs leading up. The door without a handle will now open.

Dave:
Enter the room and walk further down the stairs. To the left of the stairs is a lightswitch you can use. Walk to the left and take the silver KEY hanging on the wall. Walk to the right and up the stairs. Go to the left and enter the kitchen next to the front door. Walk all the way to the right and enter the dining room. Walk further to the right and in the storage room use the silver key on the metal door. Walk through and you’re at the swimming pool. Use the glass jar with the pool to take some WATER.

Syd or Razor:
Walk to the left and leave the house. Enter the grating left of the stairs and walk to the right untill you reach the red water valve. Open the valve and the pool will empty.

Dave:
Climb the ladder down the pool and take the RADIO and the glowing KEY. Walk up the ladder again to leave the pool.

Syd or Razor:
Close the valve to fill the pool again.

Dave:
Open the gate on the left and walk to the garage on the right. Open the garage door and use the yellow key on the trunk of the car to take the TOOLS out of the trunk. Walk to the left, through the gate to the swimmingpool, into the house on the left. Go left again to enter the hall, all the way through the dining room and left through the kitchen to the front entrance. Go up the stairs, through the metal door and to the right, up the stairs again, to the left and up the stairs and walk to the finess room, fourth door from the left and go inside.  Wait here.

Syd or Razor:
Walk to the left and go outside through the grate. Walk to the front door and push the doorbell. Quickly walk into the house and into the kitchen, the door next to the front door.

Dave:
Wait for Ed to go to the front door and pick up his package. Leave the room and use the door next to yours on the left. Take the HAMSTER and the KEY CARD in the tank. Open the piggy back and take the DIMES from it. Leave the room and enter the room on the far right.

Syd or Razor:
Leave the kitchen on the left and go up the stairs. Walk to the right into the music room. Use the cassette with the cassette recorder and use the recorder to start recording. Use the piano to play a tune and when done, use the recorder to stop recording and take the CASSETTE out.

Walk to the left to leave the room and go through the steel door. Walk to the right and climb the stairs. Go to the left and climb the stairs again. Enter the first door on the left, walk to the left inside the room and climb the ladder. Walk to the right and give the cassette to the green tentacle. He’ll listen to the tape, walks off leaving his own tape on the bed. Pick up the CASSETTE.

Dave:
Open the can with paint remover. Use the paintbrush with the paint remover and use the paint brush on the wall on the right to remove the paint. This will reveal a door. Open the door and go into the next room. In the middle of the room is a light switch. Use it to see where you are. Open the radio to find the BATTERIES and use these in your flashlight. Use the flashlight already to be prepared.

Syd or Razor:
Walk to the left  and go down the ladder. Walk to the right, leave the room and go to the left down the stairs. To the right and down the stairs and to the left through the metal doors. Down the stairs and to the right to the door with no handle. Wait there.

Jeff:
Walk to the left and go inside the house. Push the gargoyle on the right side of the staircase to unlock the door for Syd or Razor.

Syd or Razor:
Enter the room.

Jeff:
Walk to the left to leave the house. Walk to the mailbox and wait there.

Syd or Razor:
Walk down the stairs and on the left of the stairs is the lightswitch. Use it to see better. Walk to the left and open the fusebox. Use the circuit breakers inside to power down the house. You have to be fast now.

Dave:
Search for the broken wires on the left. Use the toolbox on the broken wires to fix them.

Syd or Razor:
Use the circuit breakers again to power on the house again.Walk to the right fast and go up the stairs. Then to the left into the kitchen next to the front door.

Dave:
Use the flashlight again to turn it off and use the ladder to climb down. Leave the room on the left and walk to the left. Use the first door from the left, Edna’s room. Wait behind the door.

Syd or Razor:
Walk to the left to leave the kitchen. Go up the stairs and through the metal door. Walk to the right and at the end go up the stairs. walk to the left and go up the stairs again. Use the first door, Edna’s room and join Dave. Give the demo tape to Dave. Leave the room, open the door  to the next to it to meet Nurse Edna. She’ll lock you up.

Dave:
As soon as Nurse Edna is focused on Syd or Razor, walk outside and enter the room to the right. Edna’s not here. Walk to the right and climb the ladder. Use the light switch to see better and open the painting to reveal a safe. Open the safe and notice you have to enter a code. Since you don’t know the combination, go down the ladder again. Nurse Edna will also lock you up.

Syd or Razor:
Use the old rusty key on the door to open it.

Dave:
Leave the cell and walk all the way to the right. Climb the stairs and you’re in the entrance hall again. Walk up the stairs on the left and go through the metal door. Walk to the right and go up the stairs. Walk to the left and go up the stairs again. Walk all the way to the right. Enter the room with the painted wall. Give the can of pepsi to the man-eating plant. Then use the jar with water on the plant. That makes the plant grow very fast.

Walk to the hatch above the plant to enter the planetarium.Use two dimes with the coin slot on the machine on the left. Then use the button on the right twice to rotate the telescope. Use the telescope to read a number: 1029 Leave the room through the hole and walk to the left to leave the room. Use the first door on the left to enter Edna’s room.

Syd or Razor:
Leave the cell and walk to the right. Climb the stairs and in the main reception hall climb the stairs again. Go through the metal door and walk to the right. Climb the stairs, walk to the left and climb the stairs again. Walk to the second door from the left to visit Edna again. She’ll bring you back to the cell.

Dave:
While Edna’s concentrating on Syd or Razor again, leave the room and enter the one to the right of it. Walk to the right and in the back of the room climb the ladder. Open the safe again and this time enter 1029 as code. Pick up the SEALED ENVELOPE from the safe.Walk down the ladder and you’ll end up in the cell again together with Syd or Razor.

Syd or Razor:
Use the old rusty key on the door to open it.

Dave:
Leave the cell and walk to the right. Climb the stairs and from the entrance hall go to the kitchen next to the front door. On the right, open the faucet, use the glass jar with the faucet to take some WATER and close the faucet again. Open the microwave, put the glass jar in it and put the sealed envelope in. Use the microwave to fume the envelope. As soon as it’s ready, open the mocrowave and pick up the OPEN ENVELOPE. Inside the envelope was a  QUARTER.

Walk to the left to leave the kitchen, walk up the stairs and go through the metal door. Walk to the right, go up the stairs and walk to the left and go up the stairs. Walk all the way to the right and enter the room with the painted wall. Use the envelope on the typewriter to type the address of the publisher on it. Put the demo cassette in the envelope and use the stamp with the envelope. Walk to the left to leave the room again.

Walk to the left and go down the stairs. Walk to the right and go down the stairs again, walk to the left and enter the metal door. Walk down the stairs and go to the left to leave the house. Walk to the mailbox, open the mailbox and use the envelope with the mailbox. Close the mailbox again and use the flag on the mailbox.

Now the same as at the start: as soon as the doorbell rings, let Jeff get the mail from the mailbox.

Walk up the stairs again and go through the metal door. The second door on the right is of the arcade room. Go inside.You saw the doctor playing Meteor Mess so use your quarter on that machine and note the high score. It’s differrent each time.

Jeff:
Open the mailbox, take the CONTRACT out and close the mailbox again.

Ending 1 – With Dave:

Walk to the right into the house and go up the stairs. Go through the metal door and enter the second door from the left. Give the contract to Dave.

Dave:
Walk to the left to leave the room and use the stairs on the right. Walk to the left and climb the stairs. Enter the first door on the left and walk to the back of the room on the left. Climb the ladder and walk to the right. Give the contract to the green tentacle. He’s on your side now. Walk to the left and down the ladder. Then to the right to leave Edna’s room. Goto the room to the right of it and Edna will put you in the cell again.Walk to the left to see the high secure room. Use the glowing key on both locks and open the door.

Behind the door is another keypad. Remember the Doctors high-score? Enter this as code. The door will open and you can enter the secret room. The purple tentacle will come to you but the green tentacle will help you. Walk to the right and open the door. The doctor will talk to you and activate a self destruction sequence. Walk to the right and open the locker next to the blue door. Take the RADIATION SUIT out and you’ll wear it.

Use the key card in your inventory on the key card slot on the door on the right. Enter the room. Push the lever on the console next to the door to deactivate the force field. Now you have to help the doctor with the self destruct sequence. Walk to the right and take the METEOR from the machine.  Open the door on the right and enter the garage. Put the meteor in the trunk of the car and close the boot. Use the yellow key on the car to get rid of all evil.

Ending 2: Without Dave

Dave:
Give the yellow key, the card key and the glowing key to Jeff. Then Dave sould die. This can be done in several ways (not explained in detail):

– Empty the pool, let Dave stand on the bottom and fill the pool again
– Fill the jar with pool water. In the kitchen, put the jar with water into the microwave.
– Give the hamster to Syd or Razor. Let Syd or Razor put the hamster in the microwave and let Dave start the microwave. Give hamster back to Ed.

Jeff:
Walk to the left and outside the room climb the stairs. Walk to the left and climb the stairs again. Enter the first door on the left and walk all the way to the back. Climb the ladder and walk to the right. Give the contract to the green tentacle. He’s on your side now. Walk to the left and down the ladder. Then to the right to leave Edna’s room. Goto the room to the right of it and Edna will put you in the cell again.Walk to the left to see the high secure room. Use the glowing key on both locks and open the door.

Open the panel, take the CASSETTE out and close the panel again. Walk all the way back to the left to the entrance hall and go up the stairs.

Walk to the left in the hallway and go down the stairs again. Walk to the right and go down the stairs again. Walk all the way to the left go through the metal door. Then to the right into the music room. Use the cassette tape with the cassette recorder and put the record on the recordplayer. Use the cassette recorder to record and use the recordplayer to play the record. The vase on the piano will break and use the record player to the stop the record. Take the RECORD again. Use the cassette recorder to stop recording and take the CASSETTE out again.

Walk to the right and use the TV. Walk to the left to leave the room and go down the stairs. Walk to the right and enter the lounge. Open the cabinet next to the door and use the cassette with the cassette player there. Use the player to hear the tape and the chandelier will come down. Use the cassette player again to stop it and take the CASSETTE back from the player.

Walk to the right and pick up the old rusty KEY that was hanging on the chandelier. Walk to the left and leave the lounge. Keep walking to the left and leave the house. Walk to the left to Michael, standing next to the mailbox. Give Michael the key, the old rusty key, the sponge and the cassette tape.

Michael:
Give the package to Dave.

Dave:

Walk further to the right and in the storage room use the silver key on the metal door. Walk through and you’re at the swimming pool. Use the glass jar with the pool to take some WATER.

Michael:
Walk to the left and leave the house. Enter the grating left of the stairs and walk to the right untill you reach the red water valve. Open the valve and the pool will empty.

Dave:
Climb the ladder down the pool and take the RADIO and the glowing KEY. Walk up the ladder again to leave the pool.

Michael:
Close the valve to fill the pool again. Use the sponge on the puddle of DEVELOPER.

Dave:
Open the gate on the left and walk to the garage on the right. Open the garage door and use the yellow key on the trunk of the car to take the TOOLS out of the trunk. Walk to the left, through the gate to the swimmingpool, into the house on the left. Go left again to enter the hall, all the way through the dining room and left through the kitchen to the front entrance. Go up the stairs, through the metal door and to the right, up the stairs again, to the left and up the stairs and walk to the finess room, fourth door from the left and go inside.  Wait here.

Michael:
Walk to the left and go outside through the grate. Walk to the front door and push the doorbell. Quickly walk into the house and into the kitchen, the door next to the front door.

Dave:
Wait for Ed to go to the front door and pick up his package. Leave the room and use the door next to yours on the left. Take the HAMSTER and the KEY CARD in the tank. Open the piggy bank and take the DIMES from it. Leave the room and enter the room on the far right. Wait for Ed to return to his room then join him in his room. Give him the package and he’ll ask you to find his plans. Give him the hamster and he’s a friend for life. Leave the room and go to the room next to it on the right.

Michael:
Leave the kitchen on the left and walk outside. At the right side of the stairs in the grass is an UNDEVELOPED FILM. Pick it up and go into the house again. Go up the stairs and go through the metal door. Walk to the right, climb the stairs and use the door next to the stairs on the left. Close the door and on the left side of the room is a red lamp. Use it to see something.

Use the sponge with developer in the developer tray then use the film in the tray and you have a few PRINTS. Look at them to see these are the plans of Weird Ed. Open the door on the right and leave the dark room. Go up the stairs on the left and walk to the fourth door from the left where you meet Dave again. Give the prints to Dave.

Dave:
Leave the room and go to the room next door on the left. Give the prints to Ed. Leave the room again and enter the room on the far right. Open the can with paint remover. Use the paintbrush with the paint remover and use the paint brush on the wall on the right to remove the paint. This will reveal a door. Open the door and go into the next room. In the middle of the room is a light switch. Use it to see where you are. Open the radio to find the BATTERIES and use these in your flashlight. Use the flashlight already to be prepared.

Michael:
Walk to the left  and go enter the second door from the left. Here’s Edna. She’ll put you in the cellar. Use the rusty key on the door to open it and walk through. Although it’s dark, there’s a light switch on the right side of the room, open the fusebox.  Use the circuit breakers inside to power down the house. You have to be fast now.

Dave:
Search for the broken wires on the left. Use the toolbox on the broken wires to fix them.

Michael:
Use the circuit breakers again to power on the house again. Walk to the left back into the cell.

Dave:
Use the flashlight again to turn it off and use the ladder to climb down. Leave the room on the left and walk to the left. Use the first door from the left, Edna’s room. Wait behind the door.

Michael:
Leave the cell and walk to the right. Go up the stairs and into the reception area.  Go up the stairs and through the metal door. Walk to the right and at the end go up the stairs. walk to the left and go up the stairs again. Use the second  door from the left to meet Nurse Edna. She’ll lock you up.

Dave:
As soon as Nurse Edna is focused on Michael, walk outside and enter the room to the right. Edna’s not here. Walk to the right and climb the ladder. Use the light switch to see better and open the painting to reveal a safe. Open the safe and notice you have to enter a code. Since you don’t know the combination, go down the ladder again. Nurse Edna will also lock you up.

Michael:

Give the can of pepsi to the man-eating plant. Then use the jar with water on the plant. That makes the plant grow very fast.

Walk to the hatch above the plant to enter the planetarium.Use two dimes with the coin slot on the machine on the left. Then use the button on the right twice to rotate the telescope. Use the telescope to read a number: 1029 Leave the room through the hole and walk to the left to leave the room. Use the first door on the left to enter Edna’s room.

Michael:
Leave the cell and walk to the right. Climb the stairs and in the main reception hall climb the stairs again. Go through the metal door and walk to the right. Walk further to the right and open the fridge. Take the can of PEPSI from the fridge and close the fridge again. Open the door on the right and walk all the way to the right through the dining room. Open the door on the right and enter the storage room. Take the FRUIT DRINKS and the glass JAR from the shelf.

Walk all the way back to the left until you’re in the entrance hall again. Walk to the right and open the door on the right. Open the door on the right and walk into the library. It’s very dark but you can still see the silhoutte of a lamp. Use the lamp to see better and walk all the way to the right. The last panel of the bookcase is loose. Open the panel, take the CASSETTE out and close the panel again. Walk all the way back to the left to the entrance hall and go up the stairs.

Upstairs walk to the left and open the door. Enter the paint room and take the can of PAINT REMOVER from the floor. Take the PAINT BRUSH and the bowl with WAX FRUIT from the stand. Leave the room again and go through the metal door at the top of the stairs. Walk to the right and go up the stairs. Open the door to the right of the stairs into the medical room. On the desk on the left is a light for you to use. Open the drawers and find the MANUSCRIPT. Leave the room, walk to the right and up the stairs.

Walk to the left where you’ll meet Green Tentacle. He’s hungry so give him the fruit. Now he’s thirsty. Give him the fruit drinks. He’ll leave and you can walk further to the left and up the stairs.

Open the first door on the left and enter Edna’s room. Next to the bed is a DIME. Pick it up. Walk further to the left and climb the ladder. Walk to the right and take the RECORD standing next to the stereo. Walk further to the right and take the yellow KEY from the wall. Walk back to the left, down the ladder and to the right back into the hall.Walk tree doors to the right and open the door to the fitness room. Use the Hunk-o-Matic machine right of the sarcophagus to gain some strength.

Walk to the left to leave the room, walk to the left in the hallway and go down the stairs again. Walk to the right and go down the stairs again. Walk all the way to the left go through the metal door. Then to the right into the music room. Use the cassette tape with the cassette recorder and put the record on the recordplayer. Use the cassette recorder to record and use the recordplayer to play the record. The vase on the piano will break and use the record player to the stop the record. Take the RECORD again. Use the cassette recorder to stop recording and take the CASSETTE out again.

Walk to the right and use the TV. Walk to the left to leave the room and go down the stairs. Walk to the right and enter the lounge. Open the cabinet next to the door and use the cassette with the cassette player there. Use the player to hear the tape and the chandelier will come down. Use the cassette player again to stop it and take the CASSETTE back from the player.

Walk to the right and pick up the old rusty KEY that was hanging on the chandelier. Walk to the left and leave the lounge. Keep walking to the left and leave the house. Walk to the left to Wendy, standing next to the mailbox. Give Wendy the key, the old rusty key and the manuscript.

Wendy:
Give the package to Dave.

Dave:
Open the package and receive the STAMP.Walk to the bushes left of the stairs and pull them. A grating is revealed. Pull the grating and go up the stairs into the house. Walk to the right and wait at the door on the right, the one without a handle.

Wendy:
Walk up the stairs into the house and push the gargoile on the right side of the stairs leading up. The door without a handle will now open.

Dave:
Enter the room and walk further down the stairs. To the left of the stairs is a lightswitch you can use. Walk to the left and take the silver KEY hanging on the wall. Walk to the right and up the stairs. Go to the left and enter the kitchen next to the front door. Walk all the way to the right and enter the dining room. Walk further to the right and in the storage room use the silver key on the metal door. Walk through and you’re at the swimming pool. Use the glass jar with the pool to take some WATER.

Wendy:
Walk to the left and leave the house. Enter the grating left of the stairs and walk to the right untill you reach the red water valve. Open the valve and the pool will empty.

Dave:
Climb the ladder down the pool and take the RADIO and the glowing KEY. Walk up the ladder again to leave the pool.

Wendy:
Close the valve to fill the pool again.

Dave:
Open the gate on the left and walk to the garage on the right. Open the garage door and use the yellow key on the trunk of the car to take the TOOLS out of the trunk. Walk to the left, through the gate to the swimmingpool, into the house on the left. Go left again to enter the hall, all the way through the dining room and left through the kitchen to the front entrance. Go up the stairs, through the metal door and to the right, up the stairs again, to the left and up the stairs and walk to the finess room, fourth door from the left and go inside.  Wait here.

Wendy:
Walk to the left and go outside through the grate. Walk to the front door and push the doorbell. Quickly walk into the house and into the kitchen, the door next to the front door.

Dave:
Wait for Ed to go to the front door and pick up his package. Leave the room and use the door next to yours on the left. Take the HAMSTER and the KEY CARD in the tank. Open the piggy back and take the DIMES from it. Leave the room and enter the room on the far right.

Wendy:

Leave the kitchen on the left and go up the stairs and go through the steel door. Walk to the right and climb the stairs. Go to the left and climb the stairs again. Enter the door on the far right to join Dave. Use the manuscript with the typewriter and then give the manuscript to Dave.

Dave:
Open the can with paint remover. Use the paintbrush with the paint remover and use the paint brush on the wall on the right to remove the paint. This will reveal a door. Open the door and go into the next room. In the middle of the room is a light switch. Use it to see where you are. Open the radio to find the BATTERIES and use these in your flashlight. Use the flashlight already to be prepared.

Wendy:
Walk to the left  and go enter the second door from the left. Here’s Edna. She’ll put you in the cellar. Use the rusty key on the door to open it and walk through. Although it’s dark, there’s a light switch on the right side of the room, open the fusebox.  Use the circuit breakers inside to power down the house. You have to be fast now.

Dave:
Search for the broken wires on the left. Use the toolbox on the broken wires to fix them.

Wendy:
Use the circuit breakers again to power on the house again. Walk to the left back into the cell.

Dave:
Use the flashlight again to turn it off and use the ladder to climb down.

Wendy:
Leave the cell and walk to the right. Go up the stairs and into the reception area.  Go up the stairs and through the metal door. Walk to the right and at the end go up the stairs. walk to the left and go up the stairs again. Use the second  door from the left to meet Nurse Edna. She’ll lock you up.

Dave:
As soon as Nurse Edna is focused on Wendy, walk outside and enter the second room from the left. Edna’s not here. Walk to the right and climb the ladder. Use the light switch to see better and open the painting to reveal a safe. Open the safe and notice you have to enter a code. Since you don’t know the combination, go down the ladder again. Nurse Edna will also lock you up.

Wendy:
Use the old rusty key on the door to open it.

Dave:
Leave the cell and walk all the way to the right. Climb the stairs and you’re in the entrance hall again. Walk up the stairs on the left and go through the metal door. Walk to the right and go up the stairs. Walk to the left and go up the stairs again. Walk all the way to the right. Enter the room with the painted wall. Give the can of pepsi to the man-eating plant. Then use the jar with water on the plant. That makes the plant grow very fast.

Walk to the hatch above the plant to enter the planetarium.Use two dimes with the coin slot on the machine on the left. Then use the button on the right twice to rotate the telescope. Use the telescope to read a number: 1029 Leave the room through the hole and wait here.

Wendy:
Leave the cell and walk to the right. Climb the stairs and in the main reception hall climb the stairs again. Go through the metal door and walk to the right. Climb the stairs, walk to the left and climb the stairs again. Walk to the second door from the left to visit Edna again. She’ll bring you back to the cell.

Dave:
While Edna’s concentrating on Wendy again, leave the room and enter the one to the right of it. Walk to the right and in the back of the room climb the ladder. Open the safe again and this time enter 1029 as code. Pick up the SEALED ENVELOPE from the safe. Walk down the ladder and you’ll end up in the cell again together with Wendy.

Wendy:
Use the old rusty key on the door to open it.

Dave:
Leave the cell and walk to the right. Climb the stairs and from the entrance hall go to the kitchen next to the front door. On the right, open the faucet, use the glass jar with the faucet to take some WATER and close the faucet again. Open the microwave, put the glass jar in it and put the sealed envelope in. Use the microwave to fume the envelope. As soon as it’s ready, open the mocrowave and pick up the OPEN ENVELOPE. Inside the envelope was a  QUARTER.

Walk to the left to leave the kitchen, walk up the stairs and go through the metal door. Walk to the right, go up the stairs and walk to the left and go up the stairs. Walk all the way to the right and enter the room with the painted wall. Use the envelope on the typewriter to type the address of the publisher on it. Put the manuscript in the envelope and use the stamp with the envelope. Walk to the left to leave the room again.

Walk to the left and go down the stairs. Walk to the right and go down the stairs again, walk to the left and enter the metal door. Walk down the stairs and go to the left to leave the house. Walk to the mailbox, open the mailbox and use the envelope with the mailbox. Close the mailbox again and use the flag on the mailbox.

Now the same as at the start: as soon as the doorbell rings, let Jeff get the mail from the mailbox.

Walk up the stairs again and go through the metal door. The second door on the right is of the arcade room. Go inside.You saw the doctor playing Meteor Mess so use your quarter on that machine and note the high score. It’s differrent each time.

Jeff:
Open the mailbox, take the CONTRACT out and close the mailbox again.

Ending 1 – With Dave, ending 1:

Walk to the right into the house and go up the stairs. Go through the metal door and enter the second door from the left. Give the contract to Dave.

Dave:
Walk to the left to leave the room and use the stairs on the right. Walk to the left and climb the stairs. Enter the second door on the left. Edna will put you in the cell again. Walk to the left to see the high secure room. Use the glowing key on both locks and open the door.

Behind the door is another keypad. Remember the Doctors high-score? Enter this as code. The door will open and you can enter the secret room. The purple tentacle will come. When you can, give it the contract.  Walk to the right and open the door. The doctor will talk to you and activate a self destruction sequence. Walk to the right and open the locker next to the blue door. Take the RADIATION SUIT out and you’ll wear it.

Use the key card in your inventory on the key card slot on the door on the right. Enter the room. Push the lever on the console next to the door to deactivate the force field. Now you have to help the doctor with the self destruct sequence. Walk to the right and give the contract to the meteor.

Ending 2 – Without Dave, ending 1:

Dave:
Give the yellow key, the card key and the glowing key to Jeff. Then Dave sould die. This can be done in several ways (not explained in detail):

– Empty the pool, let Dave stand on the bottom and fill the pool again
– Fill the jar with pool water. In the kitchen, put the jar with water into the microwave.
– Give the hamster to Wendy. Let Wendy put the hamster in the microwave and let Dave start the microwave. Give hamster back to Ed.

Jeff:
Walk to the left and outside the room climb the stairs. Walk to the left and climb the stairs again. Enter the first door on the left and walk all the way to the back. Climb the ladder and walk to the right. Give the contract to the green tentacle. He’s on your side now. Walk to the left and down the ladder. Then to the right to leave Edna’s room. Goto the room to the right of it and Edna will put you in the cell again.Walk to the left to see the high secure room. Use the glowing key on both locks and open the door.

Open the door to the right of the clock and enter the kitchen. Walk to the right with very small steps and as soon as Ms. Edna reacts, walk to the left and leave the kitchen. Enter the kitchen again and take the FLASHLIGHT from the corner of the worktop.

Walk further to the right and open the fridge. Take the can of PEPSI from the fridge and close the fridge again. Open the door on the right and walk all the way to the right through the dining room. Open the door on the right and enter the storage room. Take the FRUIT DRINKS and the glass JAR from the shelf.

Walk all the way back to the left until you’re in the entrance hall again. Walk to the right and open the door on the right. Open the door on the right and walk into the library. Give Bernard the key and the old rusty key. Enter the room and walk further down the stairs. To the left of the stairs is a lightswitch you can use. Walk to the left and take the silver KEY hanging on the wall. Walk to the right and up the stairs. Go to the left and enter the kitchen next to the front door. Walk all the way to the right and enter the dining room. Walk further to the right and in the storage room use the silver key on the metal door. Walk through and you’re at the swimming pool. Open the curtain from the bathtub and find dead cousin Ted. Use the faucet handle on the faucet on the pipe on the right. Open the faucet to let cousin Ted move to the left. Close the faucet again and reveal Edna’s phonenumber. Leave the bathroom and wait near the door of the room.

Bernard:
Walk to the left and go outside through the grate. Walk to the front door and push the doorbell. Quickly walk into the house and into the kitchen, the door next to the front door.

Dave:

Walk to the left to leave the lounge. Go up the stairs and through the metal door. Walk to the right and at the end go up the stairs. walk to the left and go up the stairs again. Use the door on the far right to join Dave.

Dave:
Give the toolbox to Bernard.

Bernard:
Leave the room and go down the stairs on the left. Walk to the right and go down the stairs again. Walk to the left, go through the metal door and go down the stairs. Walk to the right into the lounge, then further to the right into the library.At the end on the right is a telephone. It’s not working. Use the toolkit on the phone to let it work again and use the phone to call Edna on the number you saw in the bathroom (1547). Edna answers but do nothing so she’ll stay on the phone.

Dave:
Leave the room and walk to the second door from the left. Enter Edna’s room. She’ll be busy with the phone so you can walk to the right and climb the ladder. Use the light switch to see better and open the painting to reveal a safe. Open the safe and notice you have to enter a code. Since you don’t know the combination, go down the ladder again. Nurse Edna will still be on the phone.

Walk all the way to the right. Enter the room with the painted wall. Give the can of pepsi to the man-eating plant. Then use the jar with water on the plant. That makes the plant grow very fast.

Walk to the left and down the stairs, walk to the right and down the stairs again. The door near the stairs is the arcade room. If you have seen the doctor playing already, enter the arcade room otherwise wait in the room next door until you do. Open the envelope to find the QUARTER. You saw the doctor playing Meteor Mess so use your quarter on that machine and note the high score. It’s differrent each time. Leave the room on the left and walk up the stairs on the right.

Walk to the left and climb the stairs again and enter the second door from the left where Edna will be. She’ll bring you to the cell. Walk to the left inside the cell and use the glowing key on both padlocks to unlock them. Open the door and open the inner door. Use the keypad and enter the hiscore of the doctor. The door will open but don’t go in yet…

Bernard:
Walk all the way to the left to leave the library and left again to leave the lounge. Go up the stairs, through the metal door, to the right and up the stairs. Walk to the left and up the stairs and use the first door on the left to enter Edna’s work room.

Use the radio tube in the tube socket on the left side of the radio. Look at the ‘wanted’ poster on the wall. So there’s a number to call. Use the radio and enter the number you’ve read on the poster (different each time). The Meteor Police will answer and respond to your call.

Dave:

Wait for the meteor police to arrive. He’ll arrest Meteor Head but loose his badge. Pick up the BADGE on the right of the skeleton. Walk through the door and when the Purple Tentacle bothers you, show him the badge. Open the door on the right and walk through. Walk to the right and open the locker next to the blue door. Take the RADIATION SUIT out and you’ll wear it.

Use the key card in your inventory on the key card slot on the door on the right. Enter the room. Push the lever on the console next to the door to deactivate the force field.

    If you get captured and put in the dungeon, how do you get out? can you, or are you out of luck?

    Brian,

    If there’s still someone out there, he can go inside and use the switch to open the door. If not, there should be one brick that can open the door from the inside.

    I love this sight.I complited it with dave and micheal because i like to see ed arrest that sucker face.I also complited it alot with benard dave and jeff because i like seing the purple tentacle go crazy.

    Trying to figure out how to use the sponge in the developer tray and to get the undeveloped film done. I tried use sponge in tray and it does not do anything. It says I need some kind of solution first. Where do I get it? Cannot figure it out.
