You need to get money for the rent.
After the conversation with Drake, pick up one of the SOCKS that are on the floor and leave the house on the left into the garden. Talk to Mary in front of the car. Learn that she has a gun but will only give it to you if you bring some alcohol. Why would you need a gun anyway? Walk north into the street and go to the left. Chef Lucca and Guido are enjoying the sun. Talk to both to learn about the golf and the bees. You’ll also learn the Guido ran out of sunscreen.
Ask Guido for the empty BOTTLE and you can have it. Walk to the right and walk north between the buildings. Walk to the right and enter the apartment building where you’ll find Mika and Dr. Raoul Duke. Talk to both and learn from the doctor that he’s willing to pay you some money for an Ergot Fungus so he can write a story.
Walk south to leave the building and walk to the left and enter Scid’s. Talk to Brian. He has everything to sell and he’ll even let you have a KITTEN. Talk to George behind the bar. Ask for alcohol and you can have it if you bring him some pants. The bum in the alley should have them.
Leave the bar and walk to the Yahtzeebrand General store on the right. Talk to the magazine supplier and to Phill behind the counter. Learn about the delivery problem. It can be easily solved. Give the kitten to the supplier and he’ll give you a PORN MAGAZINE and a LEAFLET. Leave the shop and walk all the way to the right, then north and to the right to the entrance of your own garden.
Against the house on the right is a shed. It’s locked but you can see a key on the inside. Use the leaflet on the door to push the KEY out and catch it on the leaflet. Use the key on the shed to unlock it and find a lot of rubbish inside, including a jar of JAM. In your inventory use the jam on the sunscreen bottle to fill the bottle with jam. Walk to the left, talk to Guido and give him the ‘sunscreen’. After a censored piece of intermezzo you can pick up the GOLF BALL.
Walk to the right and north between the building. Walk all the way to the left into the alley where you can find the bum. Talk to him to find out that he’s living in the Medieval period now (or so he thinks) and that it happened after a blow to the head. Ask for the pants but you can’t have them. Maybe you can help the bum a bit by changing his personality.
In your inventory put the golf ball in the sock and use the combination on the bum to hit him on the head. You’ll keep hitting him until he’ll accept a porn magazine in return for the pair of PANTS. Walk to the right to leave the alley and enter Scid’s again. Give the pants to George and he’ll give you a bottle of RUM.
Leave the bar and walk all the way to the right. Then north and to the left and enter your own garden. Give the bottle of rum to Mary and she’ll give you the GUN in return. Walk north to walk into the street and to the left. Go north between the buildings and north again to the right of Dominatrix.
You’ll reach the farm where there’s a silo next to the barn. The silo is locked with a cheap padlock so when you use the gun on the padlock you’ll be able to get the ERGOT FUNGUS from it. Walk to the right to return to the streets of Reality and walk to the apartment building on the right. Use the door to enter and give the fungus to Dr. Raoul Duke. He’ll give you a wad of MONEY.
Walk south to leave the building and left in to the street. Walk north to the right of Dominatrix to return to the farm. Follow the path to the left to reach the mansion of Baron Wolfgang. Talk to him and give him the money. Then you’ll hear about his evil plans.
