This story has a happy and sad story.
The happy story:
Walk up the stairs and use the wardrobe on the right to get a COAT HANGER. Look at the dressing table. On the right is a snow ball. It reminds you of Chicago. Leave the table and go south to go down the stairs again.
Walk to the right into the kitchen. Use the sink to find a NOTE. It’s unreadable, it’s wet. Take the SALT from the table and use the salt on the note to dry it. It reminds you of the kids. Use the drawers of the cupboard to get the RUBBER BAND and the TIN FOIL. Walk to the right into the dining room. Open the drawers to find a SCREWDRIVER and the INSTRUCTIONS to build a zoetrope with a FILMSTRIP. Use the plant to knock it over and take the piece of CLAY with you.
Walk to the right into the lounge. On the wall are three pictures. Take the middle PICTURE and look at it. There’s something else in there. In your inventory use the screwdriver with the picture to be reminded of your wife’s sister. Next to the couch is a coffee table. Use it to find a magazine with a TORN PAGE. Use the book that’s horizontal in the bookcase to find the other TORN PAGE. In your inventory combine the pages to be reminded of the funeral.
Look at the television. It’s broken. Use the tin foil on the top of the set and add the coat hanger to it as aerial. Use the piece of clay with the dial at the bottom and push the on-button next to it to watch TV. It will remind you of 2 days. Now you’ll remember it all and the phone will ring. Walk to the right and use the doorway on the right to enter the hallway. Use the phone to talk to your wife.
The sad story:
Use the coat on the hanger and a key drops out. Pick up the KEY and walk to the right into the kitchen. Use the fridge to see closer and take the MAGNET and the NOTE from it. Use the drawers of the cupboard to get the RUBBER BAND and the TIN FOIL. Walk to the right into the dining room. Open the drawers to find a SCREWDRIVER and the INSTRUCTIONS to build a zoetrope with a FILMSTRIP.
Take the FRUIT BOWL from the table and walk to the right into the lounge. On the dresser is a record player. Take a closer look to see it’s broken. Fix it with the rubber band. Put the fruit bowl on top and add the film strip. Your zoetrope is ready and it reminds you of the movies.
Walk to the right and enter the doorway on the right. Go up the stairs. In the bedroom look at the make-up table. Use the key you found in the coat downstairs on the heart shaped music box. The dancer reminds you of a princess. Take the STATUE HEAD out of the music box.
Leave the music box and take the powder box from the table. Use the magnet from your inventory to unlock the box and find another KEY. Use the key on the diary. The key will break and it will remind you of being locked.
Leave the table and walk into the bathroom on the left. Use the pants to find a MATCH BOX. In your inventory look at the matchbox to be reminded of a castle.
Walk south twice to go downstairs again and north into the dining room. There’s a headless statue on the dresser. In your inventory take the chewing gum and use it on yourself to chew it. Use the chewed gum on the head in your inventory and stick the head back on the statue on the dresser. It reminds you of a prince.
Now you’ll remember it all and the phone will ring. Use the doorway on the right to enter the hallway. Use the phone to talk to your wife.
