Space Lynxes – Walkthrough (Oliver Hohlstein/2003)

Please consider this when reading on. The walk-through of this game given here might not be the optimal solution, it’s a solution. Just to prove that the game can be finished. Your boss wants you to do some jobs. But first some coffee.

Use the ship to enter and inside walk to the left until you reach your room. Walk inside and clean up a bit: take the COIN from the floor (1/1), take the spare BEDCLOTHES (1/2) and take the CHOCOLATE BAR from the bed (1/3).  Leave the room on the left and enter the engine room next to it. Take the SCREWDRIVER (1/4) from the floor and leave the room on the left.  Back  in the corridor walk to the right. Use the airlock to leave your aircraft and in the hangar walk to the right.With the stairs on the right, walk to the left to find the coffee machine.

Use the coin on the machine (1/5) and get the COFFEE from the dispenser (1/6). Use the coffee on yourself to drink it (1/7).  Use the screwdriver with the right side of the machine to open a panel (1/8). Take the COCOA from behind it (1/9).  Walk to the right and climb the stairs on the right. Go into the office of the boss on the right. Talk to the man behind the desk and ask for the next mission. You need to get some flowers. He’ll give you a star  CHART and a DEVICE with the mission details (1/10).

Walk to the left to leave the room and keep walking left down the stairs and from there north to the hangar. Use the spaceship to enter and use the door to the bridge. Push the blue button to fly to Flora IV and once there, leave the bridge. Use the air lock to go outside and walk to the right where you find a house and flowers. Take the YELLOW FLOWER (1/11), the GREEN FLOWER (1/12), the PINK FLOWER (1/13),  the RED FLOWER (1/14) and the SILVER FLOWER (1/15).

Walk to the shed on the right and once inside take the SHOVEL (1/16) from the floor and the portable MILKING MACHINE (1/17) from the wall. Leave the shed on the left and enter the house of Holle left of the shed. Talk to Frau Holle to learn she needs bedclothes. Give her your bedclothes and you’ll get some POWDERED SUGAR in return (1/18). Walk through the opening to leave the house and keep walking left until you’re back at the aircraft.  Just below the ladder is some soft ground where you can use the shovel to dig a hole (1/19). Use the hole to go through and talk to the graverobber downstairs. He’s standing on a trapdoor and you can only use the door if you give him something sparkling.

Give the silver flower to the robber (1/20) and use the trapdoor to go open it. Then use the door again to go through. Meet the kobolt. Talk to him and he’ll want something yellow. Give him the yellow flower (1/21) and you can walk further to the right. Take the BLUE FLOWER from under the tree (5/26). Walk to the left and use the shaft exit to climb up again. In the grave use the hole above the casket to climb out.

Enter your spaceship again and use the door of the bridge to enter. Push the red Sol III button to fly back home. Leave the bridge and outside use the airlock to leave the aircraft. Walk to the right and climb the stairs on the right and walk further to the right to visit the boss again. Talk to him and ask for the next assignment (1/27).

You need to help someone on Snout IV. Leave the office on the left and walk north onto the street. Talk to cookie monster and ask if you can have some cookies. You can if you give him chocolate in return. Give the chocolate bar to cookie monster and get the COOKIES back (1/28). Walk to the right and in front of the police station, next to the drunk, you can find a HAT (1/29). Take it and enter the police station.

Talk to the police officer, tell him you found something. Give the hat to the officer and he’ll return it to the owner immediately (1/30). Walk to the left and see how the drunk man is taken away. He left his RUM behind. Pick up the rum (1/31), walk to the left and enter the Spaceport again next to cookie monster. Walk to the left down the stairs and go north to the hangar. Use the spaceship to enter and use the door of the bridge and push the grey button to fly to Snout V.

Leave the bridge and use the air lock to leave the ship. Walk down the stairs and talk to the cook behind the worktop. He tells you he wants to make a Cold Snout. Ask him the ingredients. He’ll tell them. Walk to the left to find a cow and use the portable milking machine on the cow to get some milk (1/32). Pick up the bucket with MILK (1/33) and use the haystack to find an EGG inside (1/34). Walk back to the right and climb the stairs again.

Use the spaceship to enter and goto the bridge. Push the red Sol III button to return home. Leave the bridge and use the airlock to leave the ship. Walk to the right to go into the building and climb the stairs on the right. Walk north onto the streets and walk to the meierei on the right. Enter the dairy farm and give the milk to the worker (1/35). He’ll turn it into BUTTER .

Leave the farm on the left and walk to the left to enter the Spaceport again. Inside go left down the stairs and north to your spaceship. Enter the aircraft and use the bridge to fly to Snout V with the grey button. Leave the bridge and use the airlock to leave the aircraft. Walk down the stairs and give all the ingredients to the cook: the cocoa (1/36), the powdered sugar (1/37), the butter cookies (1/38), the rum (1/39), the egg (1/40) and the butter (1/41). The cook will make you a COLD SNOUT (5/46).

Walk up the stairs on the right and use your spaceship to enter. Use the bridge to push the red button to Sol III. Leave the bridge and use the airlock to leave the ship. Walk to the right to enter the building and go to the right up the stairs. Use the door on the right to enter the office and talk to the boss. You’ll get your next mission (1/47).

Walk to the left to leave the office and go left down the stairs. Go north to your spaceship and use it to enter. Enter the weaponry room and take the PHASER from the wall on the right (1/48). Leave the room on the left and enter the bridge. Use the pink button to fly to Canis VI. Leave the bridge and use the airlock to leave the spaceship. Walk north and take the ENERGY UNIT from the ground (1/49). In your inventory use the energy unit with the phaser to charge it (1/50).

Walk south to return to the space ship and use the ship to enter. Use the bridge and the red button to go to Sol III. Leave the bridge and the airlock to leave the ship. Walk to the right and enter the building. Climb the stairs on the right and walk north into the street. Walk into the brown building and find a metal wall on the right. Use the phaser on the wall and it will melt, revealing an opening (1/51). Walk through the hole in the wall to the right and pick up the KEY from the floor (1/52).

Walk left twice, back to the street and enter the Spaceport again. Walk left down the stairs and north to the hangar. Use the spaceship to enter, goto the bridge and push the blue button to Flora V. Leave the bridge and use the airlock to leave the ship. Walk to the right and enter the brown shed on the right. Use the key on the chest to unlock it and take the JIGSAW out (1/53).

Leave the hut and walk to the left back to your ship. Use it to enter and goto the bridge. Use the pink button to fly to Canis VI. Leave the bridge and the spaceship through the airlock. Walk south and talk to the animal keeper. Ask her how to get the monster. Put the Cold Snout in the trough and the beast will come and eat it (1/54). After it returns back into the cave, follow it into the cave and shoot it with your phaser (1/55) . Use the jigsaw on the tooth of the monster to cut the TOOTH off (1/56).  Walk to the right to leave the cave and give the tooth to the animal keeper (5/61).
