After your conversation with Corine you know about the notes and the cello playing neighbor.

Turn around and look at your bag on the cabinet on the right. Take the picture out of the bag to put it on the desk and look at the note. So Rachel wants to see you. Leave the desk and use the door to leave the room. Turn right and you’ll bump into Izzy. She’ll program your cellphone for the local network and leaves again. Walk forward towards the toilets and keep to the right in front of it. Slightly left past the lounge and in front of the stairs turn left. Use the door on the right to visit Rachel.

Knock on the door and enter the room. Then talk to Rachel. She’ll ask you for help and you get a list with names of students you need to take a picture of. Take the LIST and look at it in your inventory. Walk forward and turn right to the lounge. Keep right and slightly left and use the first door on the left to see Mel. After entering, talk to Mel about her roommate and the Black Cat. You’ll get the phonenumber of Megan so you can call her yourself. Ask for a picture of Megan and she refers you to Leela downstairs.

Ask to take a PICTURE OF MEL. Use the mobile to zoom and pan until you have an image of Mel, from the waist up. It’s a good idea to take several in different zoom’s and pan’s so you don’t have to revisit the girls when the picture isn’t correct. When taken, save the picture and leave the phone again. Walk towards to the bed and look at the picture on the wall: a sampler. You note the spelling of the name and Mel will tell you about the legacy. Leave the picture, the bed and turn around. Use the door to get back to the hall. Turn left.

Use your phone and call Megan. Learn about the allergy and the black cat. Ask her for a picture and she’ll refer you to Leela. Leave the phone and use the door on the left to enter your own room. Talk to Corine in the corner and ask her picture. Use the camera on your phone to take the PICTURE OF CORINE and then ask where to find Leela. Turn around and leave the room again. Outside turn to the left and go down the stairs.

Below on the right in front of you are big double doors. Use them to enter the library. Turn right and find Izzy behind a desk. Talk to Izzy and learn about Ms Hallowell. Take a PICTURE OF IZZY and turn around. Walk across the room to the reception desk and note the nameplate on the desk: Corine is the library assistant. Leave the desk and turn to the right. In the corner is a computer.

Use the screen and select the Waverly icon from the desktop. You need a password for that. Click on the ‘forgot your password’ button and you’re referred to a student body president. Leave the computer and turn around. Walk to Izzy in front of you and tell her you need a password. But before she gives it to you, you need to help her with a DNA model. Pick up the DNA MODEL from the desk and look at it in your inventory.

The DNA model:

To simplify the names, yellow should be connected to black, red should be connected with blue. The ends should be white connected to brown. It sounds more difficult that it looks. Number the holes from 1 to 10 from left to right, ignoring the small brown holes. Number rows from 1 to 4 from top to bottom.

– red & white: white in hole 1, row 1.
– black, white & brown (with no spare connector on the white): white in hole 2, row 1.
– 2 yellow, 2 white & brown: yellow with spare connector in hole 2, row 3.
– red & blue: blue in hole 4, row 2.
– yellow, white & brown: white in hole 5, row 1.
– black, white & brown (with spare connector on the white): black in hole 5, row 3.
– blue, red & white: blue in hole 6, row 2.
– black, white & 2 brown (with connectors on only 1 brown): white in hole 7, row 1.
– black, yellow & white: white in hole 8, row 1.
– brown: to the right of hole 8, row 1.
– 2 white, 2 brown: white (with 2 brown connected) in hole 7 row 4.
– black, white & 2 brown (with connectors on both brown): white in hole 9, row 4.
– white & blue: blue in hole 10, row 3.

Leave the model and talk to Izzy again. Tell her the model is finished and she’ll give you the password: WAC35NE136. Turn around and walk to the computer again.In front of the screen is a USB box. Use it and your phone will be connected. Use the screen and click the Waverly Website icon. When asked for a password, enter WAC35NE136.

At the announcement screen you can see that you are snack shop boss. Read about the book that’s missing and the warrants for the book and the Black Cat person.

At the top menu click on Academics and on that page click on the Valedictorian Race button. Click on a ‘downloaded picture’ button to see the images on your camera. On the right of the image will be a download button. Press that button for each of the three pictures on your camera. Click on the Waverly Website button at the top left to return to the homepage and select the ‘student life’ page. Here you can read about Casper, the albino squirrel and you can click the ‘Double Take’ button to play a memory game. Gaining a high score can earn you credits. On the left is a Student Handbook link. Click it to see the various times. On the next pages you can read about the demerits and credits you can earn at which activity/task.

Leave the computer and turn around. Head to the right and go up the stairs through the doors to leave the library. Turn right and then straight ahead past the piano and standing in the arched opening, turn to the right. Straight ahead is the snack shop and recreation room. With the stairs on your left, turn right and take the CLIPBOARD from the counter to read the orientation guide.

Make the trays as written in the upper right. When asked for toasted bagels or toasted bread, use the toaster on the right. In case of bagels, take one half first, add the ingredients and add the second part. When asked for a cookie, take one from the fridge on the left and use it on the oven on the left. When the light turns green again, you can take it out and put in on the tray.In case of any mistake, use the trash bin on the lower right.

Once all orders are made, a key will drop. Pick up the KEY and leave the bar. Turn left until you see the big TV screen. Look at the screen and use the button on the lower right to turn it on. There’s a prep week break at the moment. Leave the TV and turn left to talk to Leela playing football.

Talk to her about all the other girls and the Black Cat. Take a PICTURE OF LEELA and ask for one of Megan. She’ll get it for you if you play a game of air hockey with her. When you beat her in the game, she’ll get the picture for you later. If you don’t beat her, you can ask her to get the picture anyway. Leave Leela and turn around. In the corner with the dartboard is a cupboard. Open the door and use the light switch next to it. Inside the cupboard you’ll find another KEY. Pick it up and leave the cupboard again.

Turn to the right and climb the stairs. You’ll get a text message about Izzy’s date, being the boyfriend of Leela. At the top of the stairs turn to the right and use the first door on the right to enter Rachel’s room. Ask to take her picture as well so you can add the PICTURE OF RACHEL to your camera. Leave the room and turn left and go down the stairs on the left.

At the bottom of the stairs turn left to talk to Leela again. Talk about Izzy and Jacob and ask for the picture of Megan. You can get it if you beat her at a game of Scram.

Playing Scram:

The game is played in two rounds. First round you are the scorer, second round you are the blocker. When scoring, try to throw as many points as possible from the list of available numbers on the right. Leela will try to hit those numbers as well and once she does, you can’t use them anymore. The most possible points can be achieved in the order: triple 20, triple 19, triple 18, triple 17, double bull, tripe 16 and further down to triple 9, then single bull, triple 8 etc. So while 20 is available, try to hit the triple 20, then triple 19 etc.

When playing blocker in the second round, try to do the opposite: prevent Leela from scoring. So first hit 20 (doesn’t have to be the triple), then 19, 18, 17, the bull, 16 to 9, single bull, 8, 7 etc. The one with the highest score after two rounds wins.

When you’re the winner, she’ll give you the picture of Megan. Use the phone to take a PICTURE OF MEGAN‘s picture. If you can’t win the game, you can ask Leela to give the picture anyway.

Leave Leela and turn around. Walk past the snack shop and in the hall turn left. Walk towards the stairs in the back and use the double doors on the left to enter the library again. Inside turn left and goto the computer in the corner of the room. Use the USB box in front to connect your phone and use the screen to start the website. Click on the Waverly Website icon on the desktop, then select the Academics from the top bar. Click the Valedictorian Race button. Click on a ‘downloaded picture’ button to see the images on your camera. On the right of the image will be a download button. Press that button for each of the three pictures remaining on your camera.

It might be that there’s a comment next to the pictures. If so, you need to upload another picture or revisit that girl and take the picture again. Once done, leave the computer and turn around. Exit the library on the left and outside turn right. Walk straight ahead and in front of the glass doors turn right again. Walk into the recreation room and climb the stairs on the left. At the top of the stairs turn right and use the first door on the right to visit Rachel.

Talk to Rachel and she’ll tell you to return to the computer and make the layout of the page, according to the description. Leave Rachel, turn around and use the door. Outside turn left twice and go down the stairs. At the bottom turn right and past the snack shop go left. In the back near the stairs, use the doors on the left to enter the library. In the corner on the left is the computer. Use the screen and click on the Waverly Website icon. Click the Academics from the top bar. Click the Valedictorian Race button.

Arranging the website:

Following the descriptions, you need to place from left to right:
– Mel Corbalis (cello); Greenwich CT; Art
– Rachel Hubbard (gave your assignment); Pittsburgh PA; Math
– Leela Yadav (sportsroom); Newport RI; Biology
– Corine Meyers (roommate); Boston MA; English
– Megan Vargas (picture of picture); Concord NH; History
– Izzy Romero (library); New York NY; Psychology

Leave the site and the computer and turn around. Use the doors on the right to leave and outside turn to the right. Walk straight ahead to the glass doors and turn right again. In the recreation room go up the stairs on the left. At the top of the stairs turn right and use the first door on the right to visit Rachel again.

Talk to Rachel and tell her about the site. She’ll give you a LIST OF ITEMS you need to take pictures of. Turn around and use the door. In the hall turn left and then right. In the back go right and left and use the first door on the left to visit Mel. Talk about the plagiarism and learn about Paper Trail. You need to find out who uploaded the document Mel supposedly copied. Take the PAPER from her and talk about the other students.

Leave Mel and turn around. Use the door and turn left. Go down the stairs and use the doors on the left to enter the library. Go to the left and use the screen of the computer in the corner. Click the Waverly Website icon, select Academics at the top bar and select ‘resources’ from the menu on the left. Take any of the numbers from the paper in your inventory, since it’s from a single source and enter. The result will be an error with five IP addresses scrambled.

Paper Trail:

Select any of the numbers by clicking on it. None of the numbers are repeated so you need an IP address containing the numbers 0 to 9. That also means that one has to be in the 100 range, and one in the 200 range, otherwise you won’t get to 10 digits. The single numbers can be eliminated because you otherwise won’t get to 10 digits. It’s just trying the combinations until you hit the right one: 69.57.284.103

The paper was submitted after Mel’s and the name Jacob sounds familiar. Leave the computer, turn around and use doors on the right. Outside turn left, climb the stairs and use the second door on the right to return to Mel. Talk to her and she’ll give you a PAPER CLIPPING with an article about the Odyssey Championship Trophy. Read it in your inventory.

Turn around and leave the room. Turn left and use the door on the left to get to your own room. Talk to Corine about Izzy and the missing book. Use the clock on your phone and set the alarm to 6 am. This will get you to the next day. During the night, there will be a loud scream.

Turn around and use the door to leave the room. Outside turn to the right and go past the lounge and down the stairs. Turn to the right into the snack shop. Server some people, since it’s your duty anyway. Turn to the right and look at the trophy cabinet on the right wall. Open the cabinet and take the Odyssey Championship Trophy out. Take a PICTURE OF TROPHY and leave the cabinet.

Turn left to see a piano. Turn left again to see the front door. Walk towards the front door until you’re able to open it. Turn around and look at the emblem on the floor. Use the camera on your phone to take a PICTURE OF EMBLEM. Just zoom in a bit and pan until you have a good close up. Turn around again and use the doors to go outside. When you realize you can’t leave yet, turn around and take a PICTURE OF ARCHED ENTRY. Turn left and take the path on the left to the big tree. In it you’ll see the albino squirrel. Look at the base of the tree and take a PICTURE OF TREE.

Turn around and turn left to take the path on the right, along the building. On the corner of the building, just befiore turning right is a cornerstone with the names of the founders of Waverly. Follow the path until you reach a door to the cellar. Use the brass key you found in the snack shop on the padlock to unlock it and use the doors to open them. Go down the stairs and use the light switch on the left.

In the back on the left is a box and when you take out a book a few times, eventually there will be one about America that you can open and look into. Leave the box and look in the corner on the right to find an old furnace with valves you can change and a reset lever but the effect isn’t clear yet. Leave the furnace and turn around. On the wall next to the stairs are holes with star shapes around it.

Use the stairs to go back up again and outside turn left. Follow the path around the building to the left and turn left to face the front door again. Use the doors to enter the building and at the piano turn right. In front of the glass doors turn right again and walk into the recreation area.

Talk to Leela about the scholarship and her injury. Leave Leela and turn around. Walk towards the trophy cabinet and turn left. Walk towards the stairs in the back and use the double doors on the left to enter the library. Go to the right side and talk to Izzy.

Talk to her about boyfriends, the Black Cat and the plagiarism. Turn around and use the computer on the other side. Click on the screen and select the Library Catalog icon. Click the Search Catalog button and enter the name Moore in the search field to discover a book with the name “The Story of Four”. It should be on the shelf of Special Collections.

Leave the computer and the desk, turn around and turn to the left. Straight ahead is a cabinet with one book missing and the book you’re looking for but the cabinet is locked. Turn around and use the doors in front of you to leave the library. Turn to the left and climb the stairs. Use the first door on the right to talk to Corine. She’s library assistant. Talk to her and ask for the key to the cabinet. Of course you need to do some work for that.

The orthographics:

Pick up the folder from her desk and look at them in your inventory. After looking at the example, note that the shadow-side is the side, not the front. The images with a diagonal line are from the lower left and the large rectangles are from the lower right.

Use the images from the column on the left, from top to bottom:

Talk to Corine again and she’ll give you the KEY. Pick it up from the desk and turn around. Use the door and in the hallway turn left. Go down the stairs and use the door on the right to return to the library. Walk straight ahead to the cabinet and use the key on the door to unlock it. Take the book from the Story of Four out of the cabinet and browse through.

Read the story of Rita Hallowell and her relation to Waverly and Poe. Read about her death and her cat. Look at the image and note the cornerstone she’s holding. It’s different from the one you saw earlier. Leave the image, the book and the cabinet and turn around.

Use the doors to leave and turn to the right. Walk to the piano and turn to the right again. Use the front door to go outside and turn right again. Look at the cornerstone. It’s got a small hole in it. Take a closer look.

The cornerstone:

You can take out the pieces by left clicking, rotate them by right click-hold and drag. To recreate the original stone, take the top left piece, rotate it clockwise until the longest edge becomes the bottom and place it in the lower left corner. The piece from the lower left is automatically next. Rotate it slightly counter clockwise so the longest edge becomes the top and put it back in the upper right corner.

That piece will automatically be selected next. Rotate it clockwise so the longest edge will be on the left side and put it in the upper left corner. Three pieces in place now. Take the last one from the bottom right and rotate it clockwise until the longest side will be on the right. Put it back in the lower right corner.

The stone will move and open a compartment. There’s a star shaped piece in it that will be taken by the squirrel and a BOOK. Take the book out and read about Usher, his lamps and the music. Also note the notation underneath. More can be read about the raven and Poe on the next pages. Leave the cornerstone and Ned will call. Talk to him about everything.

Turn around and go left to enter the building again. Turn left just after entering and look at the lamp shades. Touching then will reveal a notation. You need to remember these. Do the same with the shade on the other lamp. Turn to the right and walk towards the piano. Turn  left and use the door on the left before the stairs to enter the library. Walk to the computer in the corner on the left.

Use the screen of the computer and click on the Library Catalog icon on the desktop. Click the Search Catalog button and enter ‘piano’ as text. Mel must have the musical notation. Leave the computer and turn around. Use the door on the right and outside turn left. Go up the stairs and take the second door on the right. Enter the room and talk to Mel. Ask her the book on music theory. You can look at it if you bring milk and cookies first.

Turn around and use the door. Turn to the right and walk all the way to the other end, past the lounge area and down the stairs. At the bottom go straight ahead into the snack shop. Help the customers and when finished you’ll have the MILK and COOKIE in a bag.Turn around, go up the stairs and walk straight ahead past the lounge area. Use the first door on the left. Talk to Mel, you’ll give the bag and you can take the BOOK with musical notation from the tray.

Look at the book in your inventory and learn all about the notation. Leave the book, turn around and use the door to leave the room. Turn to the left, go down the stairs and walk straight ahead to the piano.

Playing the piano:

Remember the notation in the book? It said: first Low Bass, then Coloratura. So use the keys left of the star first. These notes were on the shade on the right: D2 A2 B2 D3 F3 A2 C2. Number the keys from 1 to 18 from left to right and play: 2, 6, 7, 9, 11, 6 and 1. Leave the keys and look at the section on the right of the star. You need to play the keys from the shade on the left: E6 A5 B5 C5 E5 B4 C5 G4 C4. Number the keys from 1 to 18 from left to right and play: 17, 13, 14, 8, 10, 7, 8, 5 and 1.

A compartment under the keys will open and you can take a star shaped, cat signed TOKEN.  Leave the piano and turn to the left. Facing the stairs, there’s a display cabinet on the wall on the right. Look inside and see that something is taken by Leela. Leave the display cabinet, turn around and walk towards the glass doors. In front, turn right and walk ahead to the recreation room. Talk to Leela and ask about the menu.You can have it if… you play air hockey or Scram.

Pick your game and when you win you can take the MENU CARD. Leave Leela and turn around. Walk straight ahead and next to the display cabinet turn left. Walk towards the stairs and use the door on the left to enter the library. Talk to Izzy on the right. She’ll tell you that the picture was a fake.

Turn around and use the computer on the other side of the room. Use the screen to start the computer, use the Library Catalog icon on the desktop and click the Search Catalog button. Enter ‘menu’ as statement and see that ‘The Right Fork’ was taken by Rachel. Leave the computer, turn around and use the door on the right. In the corridor turn left, climb the stairs and walk all the way past the lounge and turn left in front of the stairs. Use the first door on the right to visit Rachel. Talk to her about the book. You can have it if you return the math notebook that Mel borrowed.

Turn around, leave the room and turn left. In the hall turn right and past the lounge use the first door on the left. Talk to Mel about the notebook and she’ll tell you it’s in the library. Leave Mel, turn around and use the door. Turn left, go down the stairs and use the door on the right to enter the library. Inside turn left and look at the left of the reception desk.The drawer there is lost and found and has roman numerals on it.

Lost and found:

To decipher the Roman numerals, you can turn to the right and look at the book on the reception desk. It tells you all about the Roman numbers. Translate the MMDCXLI into 2641. Use the drawer again and enter the numbers on the lock to unlock the drawer. Take the CALCULUS NOTEBOOK out.

Leave the drawer, turn left and climb the stairs to the door. Use the door and in the corridor turn left. Climb the stairs and walk straight ahead to the other end, past the lounge area. In front of the stairs turn left and use the first door on the right to return to Rachel. Talk to her again and ask her about Mel. Then you can take the BOOK about formal dining. Read the book in your inventory  and learn about which knife to use when. On the next page is an ID CARD that you can take out.

Turn around and use the door to leave the room. In the corridor turn left and at the end go right. Walk past the lounge area and go down the stairs. Look at the display cabinet on the left at the bottom of the stairs. Use the key you took from the closet in the snack shop on the lock of the cabinet and open the glass door.

Celebratory Menu:

Select the flatware that was used during the menu in 1871. Number the knives, forks and spoons from 1 to 8 from left to right. Then recreate the menu:

– Oysters: fork 7
– Consommé: spoon 2
– Terrapin: fork 6
– Fillet of Beef: knife 2
– Sorbet: spoon 8
– Roast Spring Chicken: knife 6
– Cheese: fork 5
– Vanilla Ice Cream: spoon 4
– Sugared Oranges: spoon 3
– Coffee: spoon 5

After selecting the cutlery in this order, a compartment will open with a TOKEN in it. Take it out and see the gorilla on it. Leave the cabinet and turn around. Climb the stairs and use the first door on the right to go back to your room. Set the alarm on your phone to 6 o’clock to end the day. During the night you’ll wake up to the sound of knocking and find Casper in the tree.

Casper the Squirrel:

Casper will quickly jump from branch to branch and you need to use the same steps. There are three stages to complete. Number the hands from top to bottom, keeping the left and right half of the tree separated (so you get a left 1 and a right 1). If hands appear to be on the same height, left is numbered first. At stage 3, skip the first one in the middle!!

At junior level:

– Stage 1: R4, R3, L4, L1
– Stage 2: L7, L5, R1, R5, L3, L2
– Stage 3: R6, L3, R3, L8, L6, L2, R1, middle

At senior level:

– Stage 1: L6, L5, R3, R1, L1
– Stage 2: R5, L7, L3, L4, L8, R4, L6, L2
– Stage 3: L8, L7, R6, L2, L3, L5, R3, L1, middle

Once in the middle, reach in the hole to get your TOKEN out. You’ll hear and see some strange things. Climb all the way down the tree and find a black BARRETTE at the bottom. Use the tree to get back into your room. Set the alarm on your phone at 6am and night becomes day.

Trying to pick up your phone, it will drop on the floor. Step forward towards the door, turn around and look at the desk on the left. You can look under it and you’ll find your PHONE. But there’s also a SECOND NOTE from the Black Cat and a TILE. Leave the desk, turn around from the door and find another NOTE from the Black Cat, this time for you.

Talk to Corine and tell her about the barrette. It isn’t hers. Turn around and leave the room. In the corridor turn right and use the second door on the right to visit Mel. Talk to her and tell her about the barrette. She’ll admit it’s hers so you know she was in a cloak last night. She’ll tell you all about the Blackwood Society.

You’ll get a text message telling you that the student body president has the missing book and that she’s not in her room. Turn around, use the door and turn right. Walk past the lounge and before the stairs turn left. Use the first door on the left. It’s locked.

Use the ID Card on the door to unlock it and enter the room. Look around and look at the sports items next to the bed on the left. Look under the towel with the dumbbells on it to find the missing book. Pick up the BOOK and when you look into it, there’s a list with titles and months and years behind it. Leave the book and the bed. Look closer at the desk and the pictures on it.

Pick up the picture on the left and turn it over. There’s a KEY on the back so take it. Look at the other picture of Jacob. Leave the desk and turn around. Turn left to see the trunk at the end of the other bed. Use the key from the picture on the trunk to unlock it and take the bags from it, to discover the cloak of the leader of the Blackwood Society under it.

Leave the trunk to put everything back in and turn around. Use the door to leave the room and turn to the right. In the corridor turn left to the stairs and go downstairs. At the bottom turn to the right and enter the snack shop. Do your duties and walk straight ahead to the display cabinet. Turn left and walk towards the stairs. Use the door on the left to enter the library and turn right. Talk to Izzy about the chant. She’ll tell you the words and all about the brotherhood.

Turn around, turn left and walk to the door. Go outside, left and up the stairs. Use the first door on the right to return to your room and use the alarm on your phone. Set it to 11:00 pm and wait until it gets dark. Turn around and use the door to leave the room. Turn left, down the stairs and straight ahead to the glass doors. Use the ID Card on the doors to open them and walk in.

Turn to the right and see the picture of the raven. According to the Hallowell book, you need to touch the tail, the bill, the breast and feathers to lead to a wonderous conclusion. So, touch the tail, the beak, the yellow part on his breast and the part next to the tail to make a wonderous discovery indeed. The map of the United States collapsed. You need to reconstruct it.

The United States:

It’s a huge jigsaw with 51 pieces. Follow the border from the upper left to the right: Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The east coast from Maine down: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

From Georgia following the south border to the left: Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, California and Oregon. Then filling up from California to the right: Nevada, Utah and Colorado. Above Colorado is Wyoming. To the right of Wyoming filling downwards: South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas and Oklahoma. To the right of South Dakota filling downwards: Iowa, Missouri and Arkansas. To the right of Arkansas is Tennessee, above Tennessee is Kentucky.

To the right of Kentucky is West Virginia, above Kentucky is Indiana on the right and Illinois on the left. Your map is now complete. Take a PICTURE OF MAP. Leave the map, walk towards the door and turn left in front to see the compartment with the raven now opened. Take the TOKEN with an image of the raven out. You’ll see Rachel walking outside and decide to follow her.

In front of her door use the ID card on her door and as you open the door you can see just how a secret door closes. Walk forward and to the left to see the door. There’s a star pattern on it. You need to complete the pattern without passing a connection point more than once.

The secret door:

To unlock the door, number the crossings from top to bottom from left to right from 1 to 15 (note that there are 7 crossings on the center line). The start is 8. Slide to 7, 12, 13, 5, 6, 4, 2, 1, 3, 9, 14, 15, 11 and 10. The door opens.

Walk into the secret room and find Rachel and Kim. They’ll tell you all about the Black Cat.

The next day turn around and use the door to leave the room. In the corridor turn to the right and walk past the lounge to the other end. Go down the stairs and into the snack shop to open it. Serve some customers. Turn to the right and next to the display cabinet turn left twice to the front door. Go outside and follow the path to the right along the building until you reach the cellar door.

Remove the snow from the door and open the door. Go down the steps, use the light switch on the left side and walk further down. Step forward into the cellar and turn around. Look at the star shapes in the wall, left of the stairs. Your four tokens are places automatically.

The stars in the cellar:

There are 17 indentations on the wall and there are 17 entries in the title list of works of Poe. In the list, order the titles by date and select the titles that match the tokens you found. In the right order:

Number the indentations on the wall from left to right, top to bottom, 1 to 17. Place the one with the gorilla in number 6 (fifth slat, top indent), the one with the bug in number 13 (7th slat, 3rd from the top), the one with the cat in number 14 (7th slat, bottom) and the one with the raven in number 15 (8th slat). The slats will fall down and a cavity will appear. Open the box inside and take the CELLAR FLOORPLAN. Look at the plan and note that there’s a room behind the boiler. In the box is also a picture of Mrs. Hallowell with her cat. Take a picture of the PICTURE OF MRS HALLOWELL.

[NOTE: If you place all the tokens in the slat with four indentations in the order cat, bug, gorilla and raven, the slats will fall and you can take an EASTEREGG out. Leave the wall and return to complete the real puzzle.]

Leave the wall and turn around. Step forward and turn around again. Climb the stairs to leave the cellar and outside turn to the left. Follow the path along the building to the left and in front turn left again to see the front doors. Use the doors to go inside and in front of the piano turn left. Walk towards the stairs and use the door on the left to enter the library.

Turn left and use the computer in the corner. Use the USB box in front of the computer to attach the phone and use the screen to start the computer. Select the Waverly Website icon on the desktop and select the ‘About Us’ from the top bar. On the left menu select the ‘Why Waverly’ option. Click a ‘download picture’ button and select the icons from the pictures: the map, the tree, the trophy, the emblem, the entrance and mrs Hallowell.

Leave the computer, turn around and use the doors on the right to leave the library. Outside turn left, climb the stairs and walk all the way to the other end, past the lounge and in front of the stairs turn left. Use the first door on the right to visit Rachel. Talk to her and she’ll tell you about the paper she need from Corine.

Turn around and use the door to leave the room. In the corridor turn left and at the end turn right. Walk past the lounge and use the second door on the left to return to your room. Enter and talk to Corine about the paper. She can copy it for you but wants something from the snack shop first. Turn around, use the door to find a second NOTE from the Black Cat.

Leave the room and turn to the right. Walk to the end past the lounge and use the stairs to go down. At the bottom go straight ahead into the snackshop. Help the people to their food and when all done, the SNACKS for Corine are packed as well. Turn around, walk up the stairs and past the lounge to the other end. Use the second door on the left to return to your room. Talk to Corine again and she’ll give you the USB STICK with the essay on it.

Turn around and leave the room. Turn left, go down the stairs and use the door on the right to enter the library. Turn left and use the computer in the corner. Use the USB stick from your inventory on the USB box in front of the screen and use the screen to start the computer. Select the Waverly Website icon on the desktop and select Academics from the top menu.

Click the Pen to Paper award button at the top and click the download button. On the desktop select the assay folder to read the paper. Learn about the life and death of Poe and the missing last work. Leave the computer and turn around. Walk to Izzy at the other end to learn about her essay missing from the harddisk.

Turn around, turn left and in the corridor turn right. Walk towards the glass door and in front turn right again. In the recreation area turn left and go up the stairs. At the top turn right and use the first door on the right to visit Rachel. Talk to her about the note you got from the Black Cat but she knows nothing about that. Turn around and leave the room. In the corridor turn left and from there to the right. Walk past the lounge area and use the second door on the left to get back to your room.

Corine isn’t here. Look at the desk and move some of the stuff. There’s a post-it note with ‘cellar’ on it. Under the papers on the left you’ll find a note with Izzy’s password on it and steps to reformatting. So Corine knows more. Leave the desk and turn around. Use the door to leave and turn left. Go down the stairs and walk straight ahead towards the piano. Turn to the right and use the front door to go outside. Walk to the right and follow the path around the building to the cellar.

Open the door to the cellar and use the light switch on the left. Walk further down and straight ahead to the boiler in the back. You’ll hear a noise from the other side. To the right of the doors of the furnace is a BLUEPRINT and when you look at it, it’s different from the one you found earlier. This one doesn’t have the extra room behind the furnace.

The name Dupin can also be found in the Hallowell journal and there it says that the Blackwood’s chant shall reveal what someday got lost.

The furnace levers:

According to Izzy, the chant was “Three is fine but five is more. Even nineteen defeats four. Should just seven becomes lore, at least two will find the door.” So you need to pull lever 3, 5, 19, 4, 7 and 2. Find them on the blueprint to match them on the furnace.

Number the levers from left to right from 1 to 10. Pull lever 8, 7, 1, 3, 4 and 6. The furnace doors will open and the cellar door will shut.

Crawl through the furnace to the room behind it. Find the Black Cat and the missing work of Edgar Allen Poe. But then you’re locked in. Look at the stone in front of you and a giant axe will drop down. Then you’ll see a number of grates. The center one has a lot of colored stones in it and you need to get rid of them by using the gratings around it in the right order and pulling the handle below the grate after each selection.

The grate:

Select the grate on the lower right and pull the handle. Then select the upper left one and pull the handle. Select the upper right and pull the handle and select the lower left and pull the handle. All pieces will be gone.

The swinging axe will disappear and the doors will open again. Walk straight ahead and up the stairs to uncover the truth.
